What TV show(s) is your personal crack?

What television series are you truly addicted to? A show that you fall back on to watch a dozen episodes at a time? A show where you would rewatch repeats even if you seen that one episode last month, week, or even day before? What TV show that would be a dangerous obstacle for you if you knew a marathon was on the TV or if you had several DVD sets beckoning your very call and by knowing this, would make you severely procrastinate in your schoolwork or call in sick to work, etc...?

I'm not asking necessarily for you favorite TV show especially if someone asked you when the last time you watched an episode and six months ago might be your answer, etc.... New series hardly count as they may not have enough episodes to qualify for a marathon or even have any DVD sets out on the market.

For me? It's Law and Order: Criminal Intent.

@tsarstepan,
Addiction free at the moment.

It was touch and go there for a while with Lost, but I've purposely stayed away from any reruns because I know I'll get sucked in again.

Nothing has really grabbed me since it ended.

Maybe I'll try your brand of crack. What night is it on?

@tsarstepan,
The Sarah Conner Chronicles is the best show I can remember in recent years. Although I'm currently watching Grimm and Teen Wolf and True Blood when the next season finally starts again.

@Irishk,
You're lucky that the show was cancelled at the end of its 10th season. Still in syndication somewhere but I can't tell you the details.

My present drug supplier is Netflix streaming. Surprised I started rewatching from season one last week. I'm midsecond season now.

@tsarstepan,
Oh, well, Netflix streaming is my favorite way to watch series TV. It's the best, and how I had my brief addiction to Sarah Connor (knowing it would end prematurely after only 4 seasons).

I tried to get a habit with Terra Nova, but most times I can't remember even what channel it's on, plus I missed some early episodes (football messed it up, I think), but it's just not reeling me in.

There's also some good BBC series on streaming. I need to catch up on those one of these days.

Breaking Bad. Ohmygawd, Breaking Bad.

Mr. B had the last season TiVoed. I came to it late and was so lucky to find the archive on Netflix. I marathoned through the whole thing. I'll probably marathon again before the next season starts.

Also on Netflix -- Storage Wars. Love it.

Can't say I'm addicted to anything at the moment. But there are shows I don't like to miss.

My last true addiction--energy level up when it was coming on--was The Sopranos. I was planning to drop pay per view, but I held on until The Sopranos was done. That may have been the best show ever, IMO.

I am with edgar - I watch a few shows now - Pan Am, Modern Family, House - but I am not addicted to any of these...well, Pan Am maybe.

I used to love "Lie to me" and "Chicago Code" but they always cancel the good shows for cheap slapstick nonsense *sigh*

@drillersmum,
Hey DM! Six Feet Under is one of my absolute favorite TV series but for me it's far too depressing to watch excessively in repeats.

My bestfriend just lent me 5 seasons of Boston Legal. I guess she's a pusher. Confused

I'm hooked after watching 5 episodes. Probably would get hooked on The Big Bang Theory but the library is slow with their DVDs and since I don't have cable I don't have much access to the show. As soon as it hits Netflix streaming I'm in trouble there as well. Rolling Eyes
