A friend of mine was featured on Republic of Doyle. She's hoping to get a regular gig with the show.

cool, i never really watched the show until this year, i actually got interested because the actor who plays Doyles father played a real bastard in an Irish police drama called Single-Handed (recommend it if you can find it)

I did enjoy Dirk Gently, the first episode was all there was for a while, then they made three more. It's good in that you constantly keep changing your opinion, genius or idiot, over and over again. Similarly with Bleak, the first one was a stand alone, the next bit is a three parter.

about halfway through the first season of The Killing, really enjoying it, i always wanted to see Forbrydelsen, the Danish show it was based on, but never got around to it
