Mmmm, yes, ehBeth, I can have all complex carbs, and really only need to avoid simple sugars. I love rye bread....

msolga, yes, I am relieved, I'm just working through my natural tendency to be a hypochondriac. Laughing

Cav--

Not to nag, but getting your weight under control and spending as little as 3 1/2 hours a week exercising can prevent diabetes (or make it much easier to control).

Hi Noddy, my weight is actually fine right now, and I am doing more exercise. The meds are making me a bit loopy however. I'll have to talk to the doctor about that when I see him later this week.

I'm adjusting, but still have some concerns about the side effects. No biggie, I'm seeing the doc on Friday to assess things.

Doc's quote: "I wish my car would get better like you are. It's a testament to your body that you're getting better at all, after what you've been through. It's a slow process, but give it half a chance and you'll be fine."

Me: "That's what I'm doing. Thanks!"

well, well, Cav; maybe you should change your oil, more often, that extra 'virgin' stuff can be hard on the blood pressure!
(the voice of experience) Rolling Eyes

i recommend WD40; nice and thin, and loosens up the rust!

Bo, I may think of using that on my door. It squeaks like crazy.

maybe Ms Fancy put 'squeek lotion' on the door, so she can hear you coming? Shocked

Cav--

I'm sure your doctor's car doesn't put as much effort into recovery as you do. Following directions accomplishes wonders.

Hold your dominion.

Thanks Noddy, yes the doc was being funny to lift my spirits a bit. I'm doing everything they tell me, and it seems to be working.
