Hi Cavfancier,
I am sorry to hear you have been ill. Please accept my best wishes for your complete recovery.
May I add that I was thrilled to see your photo in the gallery of gatherings.
Stay well and happy is my wish.

InfraBlue, I'm always aware of creating balanced meals for my clients. In general, I eat pretty well myself, not a lot of crap, so the diet doesn't bother me too much.

Latest news: My GP has been in contact with the liver specialist, and the specialist thinks that I am on the mend, even though the changes in my blood tests were not dramatic. They were better however. They have doubled the dosage of my diuretics, which should help with the swelling in my legs and stomach. Another ultrasound tomorrow, but it seems no need to go to hospital again. Got a chiro adjustment finally, helps me sit by the computer longer. Generally feeling in better spirits.

husker, I think 'free and elevated' is the RX for the legs at the moment, and there isn't any indication of blood clots.

dunno when I had my problem I put my back on the floor and feet up on the couch - worked real well - 15 minutes of that lasted about 4 hours of up time.

ehBeth, now that my appetite is back, I have such a craving for a great souvlaki on pita. Know anywhere near you that might deliver for lunch up at Bathurst/St. Clair?

from TorontoLife online:

On a Friends episode, takeout would involve repartee over chopsticks, pristine white cartons and fateful fortune cookies. Restaurants on the Go (416-932-3999, www.restaurantsonthego.com ) makes the real-life version nearly as alluring, charioting porcelain-worthy fare from about 60 too-good-for-delivery restos across town (The Host and Lai Wah Heen among the quality offerings.) Delivery (usually within an hour) and restaurant choices are based on neighbourhood. $5.95 delivery charge, $15 minimum order.
