If it weren't for all the encouragement and advice from all of you, I'm not sure I would have followed through with the appeal. I felt kind of hopeless about it. My gratitude and love to all of you. You are a wonderful bunch of people!

I could go to a lawyer and probably get my job back due to the unemployment determination but I think I am going to focus my efforts on getting this bill into legislation so others won't have to go through this. I'm just grateful I got the unemployment. For months I wanted my job back. I loved my job. But, I don't want to be part of what happens there.

Arella Mae, Just "ran into" this thread, and wanted to add my congratulations on getting your unemployment benefits. What seems obvious to me (an individual who dealt with job issues for most of my career in management positions) is that you are in the right.

What pissed me off recently is that the conservatives voted "no" on equal pay for equal work that affects most women who earn .77c to men's $1.

Keep fighting for your rights.

Well, I have been in the hospital for 3 weeks and have 25 more days to go. Had to have metal plate and screws removed because they were harboring a bad staph infection. I am feeling better but bored to tears. I have to have IV antibiotics to get rid of the infection. It got into the bone.

So, how has everyone been doing? Johnny surprised me with a laptop so I can visit with y'all!
