Yes they do. That was the entire premise. Here is the skunk, he sees the cat and goes after her believing her to be a skunk. He plans to plant his seed inside her and procreate.

The only time it got scary was when the white paint stripe landed on Sylvester (with Tweety Bird's help of course) and Pepe had to examine his bisexual nature. They were clearly going to have difficulty seeing who was going to be the top. I was scared for a time, then realized they were both probably flexible and would take turns being top or bottom.

No, kids should RESPECT women. In those old Popeye cartoons, Bluto was always harassing Olive Oyl until Popeye comes along and saves her from him.

Part of the joke with Pepe Le Pew was that he was a skunk. He was harassing that cat and that cat didn't want anything to do with him.
