What do you consider promiscuous? Is it different for a man and a woman?
It's when people sleep around and it's the same for both genders.
Anything over 50 sex partners at any one time is probably borderline promiscuous.
Over 100 definitely is.
Everyone has an idea in their own minds of what promiscuous is but there is no hard and fast (forgive the pun) rule.
If a friend sleeps with every guy she dates on the first night, who am I to say she is promiscuous? I don't feel comfortable doing that but she does and I love her anyway. I don't care what she does with men because it's not affecting our relationship. She may think I'm a prude because I don't shag everything that moves but boy do we have good fun talking about it all!

I agree and I don't judge people on how many people they sleep with either. To each their own ;-)
To me, being promiscuous is sleeping with a lot of people that you don't really care about. The numbers are open to interpretation.
Awful lot of "sleeping" going on here.
Heeven, what's your friend's phone #?
She doesn't like bald men Slappy and it also doesn't help that you're not in the same country but ah well if you want some long distance charges I'll give it to you (the phone number that is) and you can listen to some heavy breathing.
Feh, anyone that has sex more often than I do is promiscuous.
If it's not with me, clearly, it's promiscuous.
I can safely say that I am not promiscuous. I think I fall into the born again virgin category :-(
Montana, and what's your phonenum...nevermind.
There you go Katya ;-) Isn't it wonderful all the things we learn here at A2K? :-D
I have a sister in law that sleeps with anyone she can get something from. It might be a new roof on her garage or her oil changed. She doesnt care if they are married or not. Of course, I think that she is morally wrong for sleeping with the married men. She is in her thirties. I haven't been single since early twenties and maybe this is how dating is when you are mid thirties.

When I was young, we used to call those women semi-pros. They didn't actually ask for cash on the barrelhead, but the deal was a commercial one, nonetheless.
Beebo- Welcome to A2K! :-D
