Obama Has Political Operatives Working Inside The EPA Blocking Investigations

A unit run by President Barack Obama’s political staff inside the Environmental Protection Agency operates illegally as a “rogue law enforcement agency” that has blocked independent investigations by the EPA’s inspector general for years, a top investigator told Congress.

The assistant EPA inspector general for investigations, Patrick Sullivan, was expected to testify Wednesday before a House oversight committee about the activities of the EPA’s little-known Office of Homeland Security.

The office of about 10 employees is overseen by EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy’s office, and the inspector general’s office is accusing it of impeding its independent investigations into employee misconduct, computer security and external threats, including compelling employees involved in cases to sign non-disclosure agreements.

The UN sent a sternly worded warning to Boko Haram about kidnapping young girls and selling them as sex slaves (emphasis mine):

"We warn the perpetrators that there is an absolute prohibition against slavery and sexual slavery in international law. These can under certain circumstances constitute crimes against humanity," U.N. human rights spokesman Rupert Colville told a news briefing in Geneva.

If I were an Islamophobe, I'd suggest those circumstances involve Islam. Being insensitive to Muslims is more of an offense than protecting the lives of 276 schoolgirls.

The UN also warned Nigerian officials not to upset any Boko Haram militants during rescue attempts:

Any rescue attempt must be made in line with international human rights standards, Colville said, noting previous "allegations of excessive use of force by the Nigerian military in anti-Boko Haram operations".

Yeah, we wouldn't want any child-rapists harmed now, would we?

Maldives Approves Execution Of Children

Maldives joins Brunei in making their already draconian laws even more Islamic:

The Maldives overturned a six-decade-old moratorium on capital punishment with the adoption of a new regulation this week that allows for the death penalty to be used to punish certain crimes. [...]

While the age of criminal responsibility is 10 in the Maldives, some crimes under the country's Sharia laws -- known as Hadd offenses -- have an age of responsibility of 7. This means that juveniles could potentially face execution in the archipelago.

I do not object to the death penalty for certain crimes. Capital murders, for example. And some other violent crimes involving rape, abduction, torture, or child abuse. I have no sympathy for those who selfishly destroy the lives of others.

But Sharia Law has no due process. It is a system that presumes guilt until proven innocent. It depends on Allah to intervene if someone is wrongly accused. It accepts that Allah will provide witnesses if the accused is truly innocent. It provides certain benefits and protection to some, especially male Muslims, while denying any legal assistance at all to others. It is a horrible, unfair, unjust system.

Yet we, as humanity, are continuing our slow slide of regression into barbaric Islamic law.
