@MontereyJack,
She would kill me!

Phew....got the morning's pills down her....and now she's eating. Rejected everything except chicken.

Need to take her temp in a bit.

She was pretty restless last night....but settled after a while. Sebastian still trying to figure out what in hell is going on!

@dlowan,
My dogs get chicken soup from left0ver carcasses every day. You might want to consider getting your stockpot out.

pssssssst ... don't tell ... I sneak some of the dogs' soup out of the house when I take care of my colleague's cat. She's an old girl, with kidney troubles who does NOT like her medicinal food or medicine. I mix a little of the homemade chicken/carrot soup into her wet medicinal food, crush in her pill, stir the slop up, mush the dry kibble in and then sit beside her while she slowly works her way through her tiny bowl of food. The nights before I decided to try the soup were painfully slowwwwww going. My colleague always marvels how well Maddy pees for the week after she's away.

@ehBeth,
Awwwwwwww.......Poor little love. Mine love chicken anything, pretty much. Unfortunately, cats aren't allowed to eat onions. I may make them my garlic chicken....that is so tender and lovely.

I have to get food down Viola as soon as she has one of her pills tonight.

Fortunately Miranda was very happy with her special kidney food.

if cats can't have onions, don't give her garlic either--they're from the same family of vegetables. I know, because I used to get terrible gas after eating onions, which I love, but no one, including doctors, believed me. then I had a girlfriend who was a great cook and, naturally, loved onions and garlic, and started sneaking them into foods when she realized I couldn't tell if they were in there if everything was mashed up--I just thought it tasted great and couldn't figure out whyI was up all night with gas. And THEN poking around the internet, I found they were related and were in fact the second most common cause of intestinal gas after beans. Which is probably not the same reason cats aren't supposed to eat onions, tho if it were their farts would probably blow them off the bed at night, so don't risk her on garlic, ok? Things seem to be going so much better now (fingers crossed).

Aw, that's good, Deb.
Sebastian still confused by it all?
Poor little possum!

YOU MAY HAVE SOLD THE APARTMENT!!!!! Surprised
Fantastic!
Was it the fellow I (very confidently! Wink )predicted would buy it? (No 2 inspection on Sunday?)
Oh I hope it has been sold!
When you say it may be for less than you wanted, enough to adequately cover your necessary costs?

@msolga,
Sebastian hasn't been "right". I know his tummy isn't great, so I bought his sensitive tummy food....but he's seemed really depressed and not very responsive.

He really perked up when they had a game. Also, he engaged me in a game of chasey up and down the building corridor when the agent left.

I'm not quite sure what it is...vet for him if he doesn't pick up....but I wonder if it's just been all too weird for him.

Oh yes...it IS that guy!

It's $5,000 below my bottom line. Should make things a lot easier.

Yeah, probably the vet <sigh> if he's not right-ish by tomorrow.
Especially if he's still off his food ...
Sighing again.
Last thing you'd feel like doing!

Sure should.
I'm hoping that you can get $5,000 off the asking price for the place you're wanting to buy.
Worth a go, yes?
Depressed market & all .....

I hope Sebastian's perked up a bit by the morning.
Good night to you & V & S, Deb
Bedtime here.

Oh, he probably got infected with whatever Viola is recovering from. (Trying to anti-jinx here.)
