I applaud Cain's presidential campaign because of two things.

He has finally set to rest the debate about only 'white people being bigots. In addition he has managed to demonstrate that serious presidential candidates even in 2011 are able to selectively rationalize the 1st amendment to bend the Constitution to their bigoted will.

Clayton Bigsby is running for president and Dave Chappelle is laughing at you.

@H2O MAN,
No, waterdude, my grandmother was born a Jew--that means I've lived with a shadow of the consequence of religious bigotry long enough to recognize it for what it is. Cain is a bigot--a black bigot.

Finally it has come acceptable to acknowledge that bigots are now racially integrated. He has become the Clayton Bigsby of the moment.

@H2O MAN,
Nothing here about race, waterdude. Cain is a bigot and has no clue about the Constitutional guarantee of freedom of religion. His statements about Murphysborough are tell-tailing.

So nominate him for president, waterdude. He'll lose dramatically and the GOP will have to live down that they became the party of religious intolerance.

@raprap,

You hate Cain because he's a conservative and because he's a black American.
You are the racists RapRap.

@H2O MAN,
I dislike Cain for what he's said--his bigotry has become apparent. That's the problem when faux 'social' conservatives delved into politics, they'll end up destroying the party of Lincoln.

BTW this is an example of racism, and it's yours.

@H2O MAN,
'Difference of experience I guess--

I grew up in the deep south in the pre segregation days (until high school), when Strom Thurmond and Bob Jones were Democrats and my family were Republicans.

When I went to grade school, several of my best friends went to a different school.

There were two words never used among friends unless you wanted to start a fight--'that' is one of them.

That experience allows me to consider words as being the most important attribute of a politician. Cain screams intolerance of religion, and government invasion of the bedroom is OK because 'it's a choice'.

His economics is old style 'supply side' which sounds good but over the last 30 years has been demonstrated to be fallacious.

@raprap,

Honky, Cracker, Casper, Whitey, Gringo, etc... are just words.
One would have to have some really thin skin and low self esteem to get in a fist fight over use of these words.

@H2O MAN,
Was your skin that thick when you were 6 years old?

If so, it must really suck to be you.
