@OmSigDAVID,
I disagree.

I believe Herman Cain is the right man at the right time.

Cain is my guy.

The Republican Party is the conservative party of America.
It is closest to the beliefs upon which this Republic was founded,
as per the US Constitution.

ACCORDINGLY, the candidate thereof shoud be a CONSERVATIVE.

1. Cain does not appear to be a conservative.

2. Cain does not appear to be a well informed person
as to the events of the day, nor of fairly modern history.

( Obama is a marxist; he is worse than foul, but he is many times
more knowledgable qua recent history than Cain has shown himself to be. )

The GOP needs to find a good conservative. Perry was not bad,
except for his putting his foot in his mouth qua juvenile illegal aliens.

If the goal is to find a BLACK candidate
then we can find much better ones than Cain

Cain will make for a far better president than Obama.

Cain can actually turn this country around and help navigate around Obama's booby traps and land mines.

That is not saying MUCH.

It appears that he desires to appeal to
and to LEAD conservatives, but from his public statements,
it does not appear that he knows what a conservative IS.

He has not taken the time to inform himself.

IF he does,
it only remains to be seen which side he will favor, left or right.

He has already said that (regardless of the McDONALD case, whereof he knew not)
the right to defend your life from predatory violence
shoud be left up to the States. As an American citizen, I TAKE EXCEPTION to that,
no more than the States can tell me what Church to attend
or what newspaper to read.

OmSigDAVID, I'm not bothered in the least by the small point that you are making, I'm looking at the much bigger picture.

Herman Cain could be the Republican parties best bet to beat Obama...
I don't see you offering an alternative that's actually in the race...

@H2O MAN,
Maybe he coud beat obama,
but the small point that I am making is that he is not on our side.

Meaning no disrespect to Mr. Cain:
I am skeptical that he understands what our side IS.

And you leap up and prove me right, Sig, that you are dumb as a sack of hoe handles.

Is that the best you can do, to call someone a "commie"?

Favoring gun freedom, as distinct from statism,
is a good test for conservatism; he flunked.

Thay must have taught him better, explained the ideological situation by now,
but the result will not be spontaneous.

If u want a black candidate, u can find a few real conservatives.
