@revelette,
I am torn between Cain and Bachmann. I think Bachmann's craziness is better television. Not that it matters, there is no way Republicans will nominate Cain.

The Dems are hoping the repubs don't nominate Cain. Their campaign theme of "You're a racist" is not gonna fly with a black republican.

@Renaldo Dubois,
No I am not hoping the Republicans don't nominate Cain. I kind of hope they would. His particular mannerisms amuse me. The Democrats will react to him the same way we reacted to Palin. Cain is just like Palin. He riles up the base, but he isn't that well informed. I wonder who will play him on SNL.

But it won't matter. The Republicans are too racist to nominate even a right wing black person. He won't make it through February.

"I think we are headed into something bad because there have been no change in policy that's going to boost this economy," Cain said, arguing for a cut in spending and no new taxes. He then sent a warning to his Republican colleagues in Congress, who are currently in talks with the White House on budget matters.

"We have a spending problem," Cain said, adding, "If the Republicans cave -- and I hope that they don't -- and go along with any kind of tax increase, we will see that double dip recession."
