Can't believe I just walked the dogs in a tee-shirt amidst the snow flurries. A short walk, but -- I think I'm adapting faster than I'd like.

From all the reports of weather, I'm thinking BPB's state has the best weather. (Still jealous of 63 in January, right after a snowfall... sheeeeeesh.)

At least you're not currently posting from Guam or Sydney or some other place warm and/or tropical.

This is the temp at 2:00pm from my back yard. It has been snowing all day...the sirens just went off to declare a snow emergency.

Weather warnings here are telling people to bundle up and speand little time outside. Exposed skin can frostbite in under 30 minutes at wind-chill temps starting at -35. It's supposed to be -40 in parts of the state.......

It was 20 degrees at the time I took the picture. It's just hard to see the dial.

Well, I sympathize with you Northeasterners. We're back to our usual winter pattern here. Mild temperatures, fog and drizzle. I have no complaints...

The siren means that there is a snow emergency and that everyone needs to get their cars off the street so the snow plows can do their job. If your car does happen to get buried by a snow plow...it takes a whole lot of digging to get it out. By not removing your car from the road and or not shoveling your side walk during an emergency, gives the city the right to issue a ticket to anyone that does not comply.
