The siren means that there is a snow emergency and that everyone needs to get their cars off the street so the snow plows can do their job. If your car does happen to get buried by a snow plow...it takes a whole
lot of digging to get it out. By not removing your car from the road and or not shoveling your side walk during an emergency, gives the city the right to issue a ticket to anyone that does not comply.
