@roger,
It was really difficult for me because I was unable to walk much or exercise. Now that I can, my stationary bike is a wonderful use for me. My knee can now bend enough that I will be able to drive my car again. Freedom from my home at last. Maybe I even will be able to take my Dolly and Madison to the nearby dog park.

My weight loss is going to cost me money. My pants and shirts are way to big and I get to buy some new ones that fit. The only things that still fit are my shoes.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Life's a bitch, isn't it. Exercise is hardest and most painful for those who need it the most.

I used to have a cigarette lighter with the motto "I'm in no shape to work out."

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
I got good news yesterday. My wonderful physician who fixed my damaged right knee replacement will replace my right hip on May 7th. I finally had to stop the pain and walking, standing limitations. I had to wait long enough after my knee surgery so that I can have my hip done. I was very lucky that he had an open so soon. It usually takes two or three months because he is so busy and in demand because of his great representation. Maybe I will be able to go dancing again.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Darn glad you found a doc you can trust. I would probably go to all kinds of extremes to avoid surgery of any kind.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Butrflynet and I went to my regular physician, Tina whom I adore, yesterday afternoon to go through all of the tests required to determine if I can have my hip surgery on May 7th. Everything was good---EXCEPT FOR ONE LITTLE THING---my heart must be stress tested as it's not quite as strong as when I had my knee surgery in June last year. Old age is not cooperating with me, I guess. Tina is trying to get a rush appointment for the test so I don't lose my surgery date. I'm ordering my heart to wise up and get powerful so I can get rid of my hip pain. Damn heart, you had better obey me because I'm going to meet with my wonderful surgeon's assistant tomorrow to see if they think I'm OK to proceed with the surgery on May 7th.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Yeah. If you can't coax it into compliance, beat it into submission.

@roger,
Some good news. My heart obeyed me and is OK according to my Tina doctor report from the specialist. But she still wants to make another easier test just to be safe. She is telling my surgeon she has approved me for the surgery on May 7th. HURRAY!

PS: She said I had to eat more meat. When Dolly and Madison doggies heard that, they both ran under a desk.

@Roberta,
Yesterday, Butrflynet and I spent 3-1/2 hours at the hospital taking 5 more tests. Everything has been OK. The last test for a Echocardiogram will be Tuesday May 1st. Then, on May 7th, the fun begins.

I'm so glad my appointment started at 10 a.m. Terrible wind storms started about 4 pm, with 70 MPR wind bursts. So glad we didn't have to drive in them.

@ossobuco,
All of my seven tests were finally approved two days ago and my hip surgery is OK for Monday 5/7. Monday will start a week of strong winds, rain and lightning. What a bad time for going back and forth to the hospital.

My son, Stuart, left Arizona this morning to drive to our home in Albuquerque to be with me for this surgery. What a loveable son! I'm relieved he will be here before our stormy weather starts. Hope he doesn't have to drive back to Arizona in the middle of it.

Butrflynet spent all of yesterday preparing some of his favorite foods. What a loveable sister!

Loveable Dolly and Madison doggies will go crazy when Stuart arrives at our door!

The Lady Diane wants to help Butrflynet while I'm in the hospital. What a loveable friend! Her Sally dogs loves to come to our home. What a loveable doggie!

I'm lucky that I have the best surgeon in my hospital. What a loveable guy!
