The school superintendent in Oklahoma is at it again. He now wants the state to give him $3 million to buy Trump endorsed bibles for every classroom in Oklahoma. Why Trump bibles? To benefit Trump of course who gets a cut of every bible sold. This is textbook how to rig a bid. The superintendent spec that the bible must have a copy of the Pledge the Allegiance and the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and be bound in leather or other long-lasting material. How many bibles have all these government documents? Only the Trump endorsed bible, and one endorsed by his son.

I have no idea how this bigot has held on to his job this long. Bid rigging is a crime, and this one was in your face. I can remember how bids were rigged at the city. They would want a certain make of truck. Chev had a 292 cubic inch 6 cylinder; the other makes of trucks did not make a six cylinder that big. The bid went out and Dodge bid a V-8 for $1 less. I won’t say that Dodge dealer had inside information, but I had to wonder. They were upset that they got that truck.

The republicans are reviving a Trump strategy from his 2020 election run. Trump instructed his followers to vote twice one absentee and once at the polls. Now Elon Musk’s mother has taken to X to tell her million followers to vote ten times.

“Maye Musk

“The Democrats have given us another option. You don’t have to register to vote. On Election Day have 10 fake names, go to 10 voting booths and vote 10 times. That is 100 votes, and it is not illegal. Maybe we should work the system too.”

Maybe we should send her back to where she came from Israel and send her son with her.

Elion Musk is now on the campaign trail with Trump even though he was not born in America. The republican Party’s new slogan is “Cheat, Steal, and Election Fraud forever.” Members of Trump’s administration in 2020 were caught voting twice as Trump instructed them. Trump’s options are running out. Since betting parlors in London are giving Trump’s only one chance in a 100 of being elected and Trump is getting more senile by the day. Trump’s only option is election fraud and now the Musks are going to help.

When you sit down and read all of the ways Trump tried to defraud the American people out of the last election it is astounding. At the time drips and drabs trickled out but when taken altogether in the book “Betrayal” by Jonethan Karl it is staggering the lengths Trump and his band of clows went to. A typical example is Guiliani speaking in front of the republican senators telling them had a bombshell saying that he had discovered that there had been 700,000 more absentee ballots were counted then were mailed out in Pennsylvania. He had the smoking gun or so that drunk thought. When the Pennsylvania contacted election board, they pointed out that Giuliani had simply misread and confused the information on their web site. Giuliani had read the number of mail-in ballots sent out in the primary and the amount of mail in ballots counted in the general election.

Trum’s campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh was getting ready to give a press conference and wanted to use the bombshell, he contacted Jenna Ellis, Giuliani co council, to see where Giuliani got the figures? She said she had no idea. Once he found out the figures were a mistake, he called Jenna back and told her to tell Giuliani not to use those figures again. She said it would do no good he was going to use those figures anyway. They were trying to defraud the American people with lies. The special prosecutor, in Trump’s trial has made the court aware that Trump has made it crystal clear he intends to do the same again.

The republicans are investigating why the government didn’t give the world’s richest man a $900 million contract. The world’s richest man is Elon Musk and Musk pays not a single cent in income tax after Trump got through cutting the taxes on the richest people in America. Of course, the republicans are trying to make it sound like it was political discrimination that Musk didn’t get the contract for his Star Link to provide internet service to rural areas but he couldn’t meet the specs of the contract.

All contracts have specification and Musk company could not meet the speed specs of the contract. If someone’s bid does not meet spec they don’t get the contract. I wondered why Musk spent $10 billion buying Twitter so Trump would no longer be banned and now he is campaigning with Trump. If Trump is elected you can bet Musk will get that $900 million contract and many more, but he still won’t pay a dime in income tax.

At one time we put people with mental illness into a mental institution now we elect them to congress at least Georgia does. Marjorie Taylor Greene is one the few people that can tell as many lies as Trump. She never encountered a conspiracy theory she would not repeat and insist it was the God’s truth. She is a total embracement.

One congressman even said Biden was controlling the weather and sending the hurricanes into red state. Did MTG debunk this conspiracy theory? Not a chance she doubled down on it. Greene wrote on X on October 3 “It is ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can’t be done. I don’t think MTG should be able to use the term lie as she does not understand what the word means. If we could control the weather, don’t you think we would put a stop to hurricanes altogether? Nobody on earth can control the weather and there are no lasers in outer space that start wildfires in California either. After Trump the lying has reached an all-time high. The lies by MTG are designed to do real and lasting damage and she should be sued for every penny she has and ever will have. A judge in California wants to strike down a law in California that out laws using AI to make a political candidates appear to say something he didn’t say. The judge thinks lying should be freedom of speech.

When focus groups are held with republican women the two most frequently used words to describe Trump are “disgusting” and “pig” and in some cases they call him a “disgusting pig.” I think disgusting pig is the best description. It looks like at least Trump could get the support of Republican women. Women overall are a losing category for Trump. It is the white men who are a winning category for Trump. Men are not offended by Trump’s raping women and Trump’s racism is attractive to many.

It is coming down to the end and Trump would like to convince republican women that he didn’t rape those women but a court verdict says that he did. If there is one thing women don’t like, it is rape. I talked to one woman that her husband raped her and she is still angry to this day. Trump has openly bragged about grabbing women by their p***sy. He later tried to dismiss it as locker room talk but then the women came forward with their stories. It is one thing to be disgusting pig but quite another to brag about.

We know that white men are the demographic that Trump most appeals to. Why would someone who is a known chronic liar criminal, rapist and child molester be appealing to white men. Trump is by far the worst presidential candidate in the history of America, yet he remains popular with nearly half the population.

Especially in these times we live vicariously through others, through movies and sports for a brief time we can be the one who hit the winning home run or imagine we are top gun. Many Trump supporters live vicariously through Trump. In 2016 Trump won the republican nomination for president by insulting the top republican candidates, he gave them pet names and with each insult he gained popularity. Trump became Don Rickles and the king of the insults. When others did not respond in kind they were seen as weak. The say to speak truth to power but in this case, it was insult to power and much of the American public ate it up. Those that lived vicariously through Trump’s treatment of women and his racism also joined the bandwagon. To take Trump on you need to master the art of insults.

Elon Musk is not only the richest man in the world he is the most dangerous man in America. Great wealth is great power and the temptation to misuse that power is beyond most men capacity for empathy. When it comes to accepting blame or get busy with the reasons why you are not responsible most people get busy with the reasons. Musk has a son that is effeminate, and he blames wok culture. He cannot accept the fact that it is genetic in nature. That might make him responsible, and he will never accept that. Sexual orientation is not taught in schools each person will go through live marching to the drummer they hear. It is almost like sending them camp to teach them to follow the sexual orientation of the majority it is not going to change.

So, Musk has a chip on his shoulders and axe to grind. He holds the rest of us responsible instead of himself. Musk spent billions on Twitter to make it another Mecke for right wing opinions. Now Musk is campaign for Trump and claiming if Trump does not win the election that there will be no more elections. Where have we heard that before? Trump told the Christians right that if he won, they would never have to vote again. Nobody on the left has made no such accretions. Musk is a big fan of free speech as long as it is all lies. Now Musk is trying to buy Pennsylvania. Telling the governor that he wants to put a manufacturing plant there. No doubt if Trump loses in Pennsylvania those plans will fall through.

On Fox News Trump warned about a radical left backlash if he wins the election and says there should be a military response if it happens. This coming from a man that is on trial for fomenting a radical right insurrection to take over America. Trump has already said that he will not accept the election unless it is a “fair and good election.” Who is going to make that determination? Trump alone will decide if the election was “fair and good.” In Trump’s mind any election he loses can’t be “fair and good” Trump, lost the election by 7 million votes the American people told him overwhelmingly they did not want him back in the White House.

Trump projects on to others his own bad character. He thinks other people would act just like he did, and he is scared. America has had many elections, and they have all been peaceful with the exception of one person Trump. The results of all those elections were never questioned by anyone until Trump tried to steal the election. He tried in so many different ways and when he finally figured he could not steal it he threw temper tantrum and sent an angry mob to stop the certification of the election, and they did it was only completed hours later. Now he is revving up the Fox News viewers that it is the left that will turn to violence if he wins this time he has a proven track record of inciting violence from his followers.

General wisdom is that the wisdom of crowds will prevail but many Americans appear to have lost their minds. Polls usually tighten up as the election nears but they don’t shift by 5% in a short period of time. What could possibly make the difference? The richest man in the world’s money help but Musk has set up war rooms in the states staffed by high powered attorneys to help Trump win the election. It may be the first election in America bought and paid for mostly by one man. Trump is not only getting the benefit of $40 billion Musk spent on Twitter but billions in campaign contributions to Trump and Trump PACs. But Musk’s biggest contribution is his time and organizing skills.

We know that people commit suicide but what we see in micro we often see macro. Could a country as a whole `willing commit suicide? Americans seem bound and determined to aide in America’s suicide. Trump was able to discover Hitler’s secrets in public speaking. Early on Trump studied Hitler’s speeches and his family members gave him the Hitler’s salute Heil Hitler. Hitler seduced Germany with those speeches. All great powers in world history have committed suicide and America’s time has come.

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. Without it you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.”

Steven Weinburg

Think the Inquisition, the witch burnings, Moses impaling his group leaders for human sacrifice, hang hundreds of people in trees in Florida with signs they won’t convert. What makes good people able to do such atrocities without question? In every case it is religion that provides the justification to commit evil deeds without so much as a second thought. Why? Because it is divine knowledge, and divine knowledge can never be questioned. After all, if it is good enough for God it is good enough for the faithful and should never be questioned.

Once again religion rears its ugly head. Trump was elected by the religious right once and once again the religious right is the wind below Trump’s wings. If we lose America to Nazis and in a Trump boat parade the Trump supporters are flying the Nazis Swatika. Trump’s links to Hitler are undisputed. Religion is a dictatorship that can never be questioned and now the Christian Nationalist want to impose that dictatorship on America. They have already did it once with abortion.

@hightor,
That is a good definition but unfortunately most of the population will not accept it and get busy with the magical thinking. Most are faithful followers of the PLR (Path of Least Resistance). It is much easier to let someone else do your thinking for you.

The Washington Post conducted a poll in the state of Ohio to see if people believed Trump’s lie about Haitian immigrants. Surprisingly most of the people didn’t believe Trump’s dog eating lie. Only 24% of Ohioans believed Trump’s lies were definitely or probably true. While 57% believed Trump’s lies are probably or definitely false.

So that establish beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump is trying to lie his way into the White House. The trouble is that after all Trump’s lies, he still holds a 6% advantage in the polls in Ohio. It indicates that Ohio voters have no problem election a liar. Lying makes no difference even though only one in four voters believe Trump’s lies but they are going to vote for him anyway. How can they trust a liar? If he will lie to one person, he will lie to another. Here we go with the magically thinking again. “God uses flawed men to achieve his goals.” There is no crime or sin that statement can’t absolve.

Trump finally acknowledge that he was part of the insurrection. During a Univision town hall meeting Trump took full credit for the insurrection.

“There were no guns down there [we} didn’t have guns. The others had guns, but [we} didn’t have guns.”

That was a lie the Trump thugs had guns

The operative words are we Trump rightfully views himself as part of the insurrection. He has promised all the Trump thugs, that like to have beat the Capitol police to death, to do Trump’s bidding pardons.

The day after the insurrection Trump said:

“Like all Americans I am outraged by the violence, lawlessness and mayhem.” He went on to describe the riot as “heinous attack.”

Where is Trump’s outrage now? What changed? No doubt Trump will need his Trump thugs again and he does not want them to worry about jail time. Trump is recruiting for the next insurrection, and it is getting much closer.

What will a Trump second term look like? It will be ten times worse because they will have weeded out anybody that had any sense. Trump installed his bag boy as head of the personal department who is responsible for hiring and firing 13,000 government employees. This guy literally carried Trump’s bags one day and took over the personal department the next. He set about firing anyone who was not absolutely in love with Trump. The one qualification for a government job at the end of Trump’s first term was how loyal they were to Trump.

On many occasions during Trump’s term in office other government employees had to explain to Trump that they could not follow his orders because what he wanted was illegal. Trump doesn’t believe anything he does is illegal, and the supreme court has ruled he has immunity for anything he does officially. The supreme court has effectively granted Trump dictator status.

Trump’s previewed economic plan today and says he will help small businesses by cutting their utility in half. Sounds good till you realize that their utilities cut would be paid for by the other utility customers. There no such free lunch for utility customers. They tried that here with a big aluminum company they use a huge amount of electricity, but the other customers would pay for their electricity.

Trump hasn’t lost the election yet but Elon Musk and Majorie Taylor Greene are already beating the drums claiming the election is fixed. Musk is being watched very carefully by the company that makes Dominion Voting Machines. Dominion has already collected over $700 million from Fox News for making the same claim. The first rule of lawsuits is to sue someone with deep pockets. Musk is the richest man in the world, and you can’t get any deeper pockets than that. The case already been established as a sure winner. MTG no doubt has very little to take but she badly needs to learn a lesson for lying.

Since Trump has continued to repeat those lies it looks like he should be sued and pay for the lying he continually does. The country cannot stand on a foundation of lies. Trump has raised lying to an art form and others using Trump for an example realize that lying can benefit them as it benefits Trump. In environment of lies now is the time to hold the liars’ feet to the fire. They may realize they can lie but they are going to face consequences.

How desperate is Elon Musk to get Trump elected? He is willing to give a million dollars a day from now to election day for those willing to sign his petitions supporting the right to free speech and the right to bear arms in swing states. I guess a name would be selected each day from those who had signed Musk’s petitions. Is it buying votes? That is clearly Musk’s intention. Does it skirt the law? Time will tell.

Musk may be the richest man in the world now but if he stays in politics long enough, he won’t be for long. Musk believes that he will be Trump’s seccessor when Trump is too senile to head MAGA, that should not be long. Musk believes that he is not only the richest man in world but the smartest man in the world. Money is power and it can be used to buy the election. When a country allows great accumulation of wealth it asks for the consequences. All the great economic powers in history have fallen because of great accumulations of wealth. America shows all obvious signs of great decay.

I can remember a number of presidential elections, and none referred to an “enemy within.” The elections were peaceful, and the loser accepted the loss with grace. They did not make up lies about how they were cheated. Trump does not even understand the most basic facts about our government. Trump cited Nancy Polis and Adam Schiff as examples of a corrupt Justice department. Both Nancy Polis and Adam Schiff are members of the House of Representatives which is the legislative branch of government. The Justice Department is part executive branch. Our government has three branches, executive, legislative and the judicial. You would think someone running for president could at least get the simple stuff right.

If Trump can’t start a civil war, it won’t be because he did not try. He is trying to label half the population of America as the “enemy within.” This is a good way to start a civil war. You first have to dehumanize the “enemy.” If Trump doesn’t get elected this is his fallback position. Maybe if Trump uses his thugs to start a civil war, he can declare himself dictator for life. Trump is now calling his insurrection “a day of love” and I am sure Trump has a lot more days of love in store for America.

Trump rallies are getting less popular. Classes were cancelled at East Carolina University so there would be no empty seats at the Trump rally. There is a lesson there you can make the students go to a Trump rally, but you can’t make them stay most students left early. Nobody with any sense wants to listen to that senile old man tell lies.

Now Trump purposes putting a 60% tariff on goods coming into the country this would make most of the things we buy 60% higher. In exchange Trump would stop income tax on social security, tips and consider not taxing the income of fire, police, and military personal. The effective income tax on many Americans is around 10%. I don’t know about you, but I can count, and I don’t want to trade paying a 60% tariff for a 10% saving on income tax.

Trump is senile and believes the foreign countries are going to pay the tariffs, but it is just like the cost to manufacture the goods it is passed to the consumer. Tariffs were used in the 1800s before income tax. Trump wants to turn the clock 150 years. The last republican should turn the lights out when he leaves.
