You might have noticed that Trump was only going to eliminate income tax on a few select groups, social security, tips, fire, police and military. Why just those groups? Trump is hoping to buy votes with promises he can keep. All tax bills must originate in the House of Representatives. Even with Trump’s high tariffs they would not pay for the taxes lost due to elimination of the income tax on certain groups.
If you are not a member of Trump’s select groups, you would still pay the increased 60% tariffs on imported goods. Other countries would not stand still for the high tariffs and would retaliate with tariffs of their own. This would hurt our exports and cause a trade war. Why did Trump not just do away with income tax on everyone? He could not pay for it.
What this would do is levy a consumer’s tax which would put the tax burden on the lower and middle class. They must spend all or most of their money on their needs the while the rich only spend a fraction of their income on essentials. One of the big reasons the ungodly greedy want to move to a consumption tax is that all of their earnings on stock and bonds would be tax free. Trump can promise anything to anybody to get their vote but it is quite another to do away with income tax on favored groups but getting it through congress is another thing.

Much has been made about inflation during this election cycle. People act as if this is the first time inflation every took place but in inflation has been far worse during Reagan’s term in office for instance. In 1981 the inflation rate was 11.4% in January. Inflation had been so high the government tried price controls. Is there anyone that is older that can’t remember how low prices were when they were a child. When I was a child, my dad bought a full-sized Chev in 1962 for $2,000 now you would be lucky you buy one for $30,000. Bread cost 30 cents when I was a kid, when my mom was a child, it cost 5 cents. Inflation is a fact of life it always has been and always will be. It may be higher at times and lower at times, but it always will be.
There is even a plus for the working man anybody that buys a house with a large mortgage benefit over time. When you borrow money, the dollar is wort dollar but after 29 years of inflation you may be paying back the loan with dollars that are only worth 30 cents after inflation is figured in. You may be paying the same dollar figure but is worth only 30 cents. My payments on my first house were only $81 a month. The next house payment, 15 years later, was $463. When I sols the first house I got over 100% more than I paid. Ask your grandparents about the prices when they were young.

Trump carries on about the illegal aliens but he had 4 years to solve the problem and he did not. That was his biggest campaign promise and he did not solve the problem. If he tried and failed why would anyone believe he could do any better in another four years. Trump benefited from the COVID pandemic. While travel was restricted from Mexico it was also restricted from Cannada because of the pandemic. This is what Trump takes credit for the pandemic rules. Once the pandemic was over those rules ended per the courts.
Trump imports his labor for his businesses from other countries to benefit from cheap foreign labor to avoid paying the wage for American workers. Trump is a failure his biggest campaign promise and he could not kept. Trump only manage to build 2% of his great wall maybe he could build another 2% in his next term. They took a group of climbers from Ohio down to test Trump’s billion-dollar wall it took them only fourteen seconds to get across Trump’s wall.

History really does repeat itself and we are reliving the period before the civil war now. In all other countries they did away with slavery without a civil war. In the 1850s there was an uprising of evangelicals in politics, sound familiar. The civil wars has been described by some scholars correctly as a religious civil war. There were two factions, the pro slavery south using the bible to back their argument and the northern faction trying to show that biblical morality was wrong when it came to slavery.
Why could the slavery issue not be resolved in a compromise? Preachers believe they know the will of God and you can never compromise with the will God. There is no such thing as the will of God but there are thousands of preachers who will tell you they know the will of God. It is easy to imagine that you know the will of God.
In the military preachers are indispensable they are the ones are used to convince the soldiers that it won’t matter if they are killed because they will have a better life in heaven. The preachers were used during the civil war to convince soldier to hold their ground but when the shooting started the preachers were the first to flee the battlefield. It seems like they didn’t believe what they were pedaling they did not want to go to the better place.
We are far closer today to another civil war than most people think. We have seen the second political uprising of evangelicals it will only take spark for the shooting to start. The preachers believe that it is the will of God that Trump be president and they won’t take no for an answer. It will be led by the preachers pushing Trump.

Does anybody really believe that Trump will lose this election? The vote count has absolutely nothing to do with it. Trump is already planning to claim victory on election night whether he is losing or not. Trump claimed that he won the 2016 election by a sacred landslide despite the fact that he lost by millions of votes. His followers still believe he won the 2016 election by a sacred landslide because he told them so. What do Trump’s followers think should be done if it happens again? Two out of five Trump followers believe violence should be used to correct the problem. Polls show the country is about evenly divided on supporting Trump. With a population of 330 million that looks like about 165 million Trump followers. Take 40% of 165 million that would give us 66 million people who think violence should be used to put Trump in office. That would be one of the largest standing armies in the world.
Many of these people are completely strung out on religion. They live in a fantasy world of magical thinking. It is impossible to reason with somebody that is a magical thinker. If somebody tells them that it is God’s will that Trump be president, as their religious leaders have, the American way of life is endangered. Trump is already rolling out all of his wild election stories to use for excuses for his second lose. There are actually some churches claiming Trump is the second coming of Jesus. I think that if Jesus was rea, he would strike those heretics dead in a second.

“We want to make America hate again” one of the leasers of proud boys. That is the Trump campaign motto. That is what Trump ran his first campaign on. From the first time he descended the steps in Trump Towers he started spewing hate. There are two ways to campaign for political office, one is to be a uniter and try to appeal to a large number of voters, the other is to divide and conquer and ty to fuel your campaign with hate. Hate is popular in politics. Hate motivates people and gets them to the ballot boxes.
When Trump got into office America changed and not for the better. You no longer wanted to put a political bumper sticker on your car. If you did a Trump supporter would get out and key your car. You could see the Trump hate at work. The barber shop has always been a center for political discussion after Trump people sat in silence afraid that the Trump thugs would take offence. It was almost like the civil war with brother against brother, father against son. The Trump strategy worked they made America hate again.

It is surprising what is left out of history books and now the republicans want to leave anything out of the history books that might make people feel bad. We need to learn from history, it is not emotional therapy. Governor DeSantis wants the history books to say that slavery was a good thing for the black people teaching them a trade.
I was reading a book from an author from Oregon talking about the second worst industrial accident in the world taking place only a little over and hour from where I live. I had visited the area on several occasions and never heard a word around 2,000 people that died. There was no memorial to mark the deaths. The same corporation was responsible for both industrial “accidents.” The “accident” in WV involved building a tunnel. The workers were killed by breathing the dust. When it went to trial, the foreman said “We knew we were going to kill those n*** but we didn’t know we were going to kill those n***s that fast. In this case the N word is used to describe Italians and other races. They could not come up with enough property to bury the dead.
A book by a Princton historian shines a light on the History of Christianity in America. “One Nation Under God: How Corporate America Invented Christian America.” It seems the rich wanted to combat the New Deal. The rich were not popular at the time and needed a surrogate to doing their bidding. The rich believed religion could be used like a puppet to control the masses. I should have the book Friday.

We got a look at the Trump agenda is if he gets elected. The same old story do away with Obamacare. Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, said they would make “massive reforms” to Obamacare, you can translate that into completely gutting it the only thing saved would be the name. Anything that improves a working man’s life the republicans want to do away with it. They tried to kill social security for 20 years.
Johnson was singing an old song that all the problems with heath care can be solved with the free market. The free market works for gasoline or television sets. The key to the free market is the consumer being able to decline the service. When the price goes up people don’t buy TVs. The reason the free market does not work for health care is that people cannot refuse to buy it when the price goes up. They will pay any price to live. Let’s make a drowning child get help by the free market. First you must find a lifeguard and then negotiate a price. What would you pay to save your child? Any price. Medical care is the same way you either get medical care or die. The free market will never work when the consumer will pay any price and the to go without medical care may result in death.
Why do the republicans persist in wanting to eliminate Obamacare? The tax to fund it was levied the rich and there is no deduction, so they have to pay it. They can’t get around it.

One of Trump’s Halloween rallies in Albuquerque, New Mexico had to be canceled because Trump is a swindler. Trump had already swindled Albuquerque out of $445,000 for a rally held in 2019. One way the rich get rich is to simply refuse to pay their bills. Trump believes everybody else is a potential victim. Trump had owed Albuquerque almost a half a million for 5 years and had no intention of paying a cent then he goes back with every intention of doing it again and finally they stood up to him and told him he would have to pay the $421,445 before he could hold his rally in the convention center civic center.
The first rule of dealing with a swindler is get your money up front in cash. The author of one book said he would rather deal with a crook than anyone else. He said he knows up front that the crook will swindle him if he gets the chance. He takes measures up front to protect himself. Albuquerque is not an isolated case Trump has swindled cities across America. The money being contributed to republican party is being used to pay Trump’s legal expenses instead of paying for his presidential campaign. Do you think Trump would swindle you if he got the chance? Does the sun come up in the morning.
“Municipalities in Texas and Pennsylvania are still after $750,000.”

Trump made it very clear what he wants to do to his political rivals at a political rally in Arizona Thursday. Trump absolutely can’t stand Liz Cheney; she refused to bow to him and stayed on the House Committee to investigate Jan 6 now she is working against him in the general election. Cheney is a lifelong republican, and her father was vice president under baby Bush.
“She is a radical War Hawk, Trump told Tucker Carlson in Arizona. Let put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, okay? Let see how she feels about it, you know, when the guns are trained at her face.”
You have to remember this is coming from a draft dodger’s, draft dodger. Trump made sure there were no foreign guns pointed at him when it was his time to serve his country. Trump has said he deserves a medal for not getting a venereal disease during the same time period.
If Trump had Cheney executed after he was elected his followers would see nothing wrong with it because she sinned against their god and deserves to die.
Tuesday we will have a choice between government at the point of a gun or government by ballot box.

Isn’t it funny how all of the ads made with AI that can be traced back to Russia are like commercials for Trump’s cause. These ads go viral on social media and people lack the skills to debunk them. These AI ads are made by professionals and it takes a professional to debunk them. One such add shows someone destroying Trump’s ballots. Once the experts checked the ad, they found that the ballots that were being destroyed were fake. It has reached point with AI you can no longer believe what you see.
Trump is now under investigation for making death threats to Liz Cheney. Who would think that telling Liz Cheney you would like to have 9 rifles pointed at her head could be constructed to be a death threat. After it is more like a dog whistle to his followers to do the killing for him. Trump hates Cheney for living. He believes because she is a republican that she owes him absolute loyalty no matter how many laws he breaks. The fact that especially a woman would take him on deeply offends Trump.

Trump is now complaining about Fox News. Trump says when he starts to tell his lies about the 2020 election Fox News cuts him off. Fox paid $787 million for airing Trump’s lies in 2020. Trump does not care if Fox News pays another $787 million. Trump just wants Fox to broadcast his lies. There are still many people that believe that Trump won by a “sacred landslide.” It was not enough that Trump won he had to win by a sacred landslide. This of course invokes God to say that God mandated a Trump landslide.
Even though to this day Trump has been unable to show any proof for any of his lies he continues to lie and expects others to back him up. Trump needs to face the fact that he lost the election by 8 million votes. If Trump loses this election, he will throw a temper tantrum, and we can expect him to repeat the same lies about this election. Once Fox News was successfully sued for broadcasting Trump’s lies the source of those lies should have been sued. Every time Trump tells a lie that damages someone he should be sued.

Tomorrow is the day. I look for the election results to not be known for week or so. The potential for violence is great. There will be dangerous days ahead for the country. Trump will never concede defeat.
The psychiatrists that are observing Trump now say that where they could observe Trumps dementia getting worse over decades now the changes are taking place over weeks. Some people think Trump will be less dangerous as his dementia gets worse but the psychiatrists believe he will be even more dangerous. Trump’s vocabulary is becoming very limited. He simply can no longer remember certain words and tries to cover it up my making words up.
Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally is being is being compared to the 1939 pro-Nazi rally in Germany. Trump is known to openly admire Hitler and to be a student of Hitler.

I went to vote today, and the republicans had changed thing again. Trump won WV with 68.62% of the vote. I guess it was obvious that Trump had been cheated because they believed he should have got 100% of the vote if the democrats hadn’t cheated him. The first thing they did was require driver licenses to vote a few years ago. This stops a lot of people from voting, not everyone has a license, of course rich people will have a license, but many poor won’t.
Today took the cake, gone were the voter registration books that you signed every year and they were replaced with electronic devices that stood at a 90% angle. I was told to sign with my finger. I am older and writing with my finger was difficult and the spacing was not big enough to get my full name on the device. I was not taught to write with my finger, and I could not even recognize my signature. The clerk said it was fine. Either the device did not work or she lied. If they are going to use electronic signature verification it needs to lay down flat and there should be a writing pen for the machine. As you age it gets more difficult to write. I have a slight tremor that makes it harder to write but writing is not near as hard with paper and pen. The republican theory is to stop as many people as possible from voting. Musk wants only high T men vote, and Trump’s vice president wants to take the vote away vote from those who don’t have children because they have no interest in the future.

I knew the race was close and could go either way, but it still surprised me that it was not close. Trump is the first republican president to win the popular vote since baby Bush. If Nixson had the support of his fellow republicans, he likely would have not been convicted in an impeachment trial. A two thirds majority is impossible in a two-party system that is equally divided. Even if Trump had been convicted it would not have made a difference to his followers.
Trump’s election will lead to many more criminals running for public office because it is obvious the right sees nothing wrong with criminal activity. Is there a crime Trump has not committed? One of Trump’s campaign promises was to do away with the Constitution. If does what he promised that is the end of America for all practical purposes. He also told his Christian followers this would be the last election they would not need to vote in. Trump’s vice president has said he will do what Pence would not do and he would throw out the votes for the opposing party if fake electors are sent to certification ceremony. This means that it will be impossible for the opposing party to ever win an election no matter how many votes they win the election by. See how simple it is to never need to have another election. Trump wants to model our elections to be exactly like Russia. The idiots knew all these things before the election and still voted for a corrupt criminal for president. The founding fathers turned over in their graves today.

Many applauded the 1500 points surge in the stock market yesterday but what goes up must go down and while the stock market fell slightly today the surge was based on the belief that Trump will do away with regulations. Every game has to have rules (regulations if you will) if you were playing poker your opponent could claims duces were high because he had a hand of duces. Life would be chaos without regulation. Imagine an intersection with a red light but no regulation that you must stop on red.
When the stock market crashed in 1929 regulations were put in place to prevent it from happening again. In the 90s many of those regulations were repealed resulting in the stock market crash in the 2007. These regulations stopped speculators for making bets on just about anything when the regulations were repealed the biggest casino in the world was opened for business. Trump’s stock market surge is a sugar high it will result in a stock market crash it maybe four to six years in the future, but it will happen.
In Trump’s last term he did away the regulation that chemical waste tanks could not be in 25 feet of a water way. We had a tank that sprung a leak and polluted the water intake in the city of Charleston. By it being so close to the water way once the leak happened it ran right into the river. The city of Charleston water system was full of the chemical and was shut down for a month. People lived on bottled water. All the lines had to flushed and hot water tanks replaced. A regulation was put in place that the chemical storage could not be built close to any waterway. As soon as Trump got in office, he removed that regulation. It matters not to Trump it happens again he just wants to say he removed the regulation.

“Those who can make you believe in absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”
Voltaire
Voltaire died in 1778, but his words rang true on Jan 6 insurrection. Trump had convinced people to believe in absurdities of his lies about the election and they indeed committed atrocities. The insurrectionists were for the most part Christian Nationalist who already believed many absurdities before Trump brainwashed them with his lies. Some of the flags at the insurrection stated “Appeal to Heaven.” Exactly how would this work? Since Jesus is an imaginary figure no more real than Bugs Bunny. He certainly isn’t going to come to earth to hear the appeal. But there would be many surrogates willing to hear the appeal. “Faith Over Fear” was another. They even took the Confederate Flag into the capitol.
At a rally held on Dec 12th the speaker said, “They are trying to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance.” To start with “one nation under God” was not there in the original pledge to start with and was added to pledge in late 1940s or early 50s during the communists scare. In the 1860s only 15% of Americans attended church. By the 1960s that number quadrupled due to millions of dollars spent by millionaires on a campaign to overturn the New Deal. In politics manipulation is an art form.

“Christian Nationalism is still a serious threat. January 6 proved it to be fascist, mendacious, lawless, and violent. Christian nationalism is inherently authoritarian. Its entire identity is based on lies about America and “post-truth is pre-fascism” as Timonthy Snyder observed in the New York Times. Trump’s lies caused the insurrection, but they were swallowed thanks to a steady religious diet that accepts extraordinary claims and faith, in spite of evidence. Added to that blind acceptance was a divine justification for any action. The idea that “there is no crime for those who have Christ” is identical to the insurrectionist who prayed in the Senate saying, “God will judge us for what we have did. I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, right? There is no judgement that stands against me.” Finally add to these characteristics a fetish for violence—in their holly book and in against their savior, to the point of baptizing the movement after a biblical genocide---and January 6 violence was inevitable. The popular narrative that Christian violence is an impossibility or distortion is false. Christian nationalism is Christian. It is a faith-based initiative a natural product of revering a divine truth a book full of fiction, authoritarianism, otherizing, and violence.”
One of the concluding paragraphs from the epilogue of the book “The Founding Myth: Why Christian Nationalism is Un-American.
That paragraph speaks volumes.

The Christian Nationalists claim that America was founded on Judo-Christian principals, but the truth is that the two are diametrical opposed. In Christianity there is no freedom even your thoughts are controlled “you can’t lust after your neighbor’s wife.” I am sorry but lust is the reason why we are here today it is a biological urge that is inborn in all of us. American founded on granting the maximum freedom to the individual. Christianity was founded on rigged control of its followers it is a complete dictatorship. There is no comparison between the two, but people see what they want to see and don’t let facts get in the way.
Christian Nationalist act very much like they are brainwashed and that is exactly what happened to them. They start at birth with the brainwashing. Think of Manchurian candidates being brainwashed as a child instead of an adult. We are facing millions of Manchurian candidates today in America and they have one purpose in mind, to take as much freedom away from Americans as possible. It starts with abortion; it takes away the freedom to control one’s own body. The Barbarians are no longer at the gate they taken control of all three branches of our government. They want to take as much of our freedoms away as they possibly can. They want to make our government a dictatorship. We have lost the battle but not the war. Like a vampire they feed on ignorance and lies and it makes them more determined to take our freedoms that were bequeathed us by our founding fathers away.

Elon Musk bought this election with billions and billions of his dollars. First, he bought Twitter and renamed it X for one reason and one reason only so he could overturn the banning of Trump on Twitter for using it to promote the overturn of our government. Musk purchased Twitter for $40 billion. Under his management it is now worth only $10 billion. Musk’s PAC paid for the door to door get out the vote campaign in the battle ground states how many billions that cost him we will never know. Next, he started a lottery giving a million dollars every day in the battle ground states for those who were registered to vote and signed his petitions.
My question is Trump’s question as he stood in a military graveyard, “I don’t understand what was in it for them.” Musk’s is businessman he spends money to make money. What is in it for him? He is the world’s richest man and pays not a dollar in income tax. Trump can’t cut his taxes any further. Musk has already said he can cut the budget by 30%. What would Musk cut that would make him billions more? Social Security employees pay 7.2 % but employers must also pay 7.2%. The republican party’s wet dream has always been to eliminate social security sine it was enacted in the 30s. This would save businessmen untold billions upon billions of dollars. Their philosophy is personal responsibility, and each American should pay for his own retirement. Their moment in history has arrived this is their best chance since the 1930s to eliminate social security. Baby Bush made a pass against social security trying to convince the American people that social was broke and backed by only worthless paper. The 4 trillion-dollar social trust fund is backed by US treasury bonds worth their weight in gold, of course the other Treasury bonds held by the rich are not worthless paper only the US Treasury bonds held by social security are worthless.
In the 1940s the ungodly greedy businessmen paid for a movement by 10,000 preachers to convince the American people that social security was socialism. The movement was called Spiritual Mobilization Movement. It was paid for by all the big companies from Ford to Firestone although it was generally hidden from the preachers in the field. The leader of the movement was the founder of the first prosperity church in America, James W Fifield. Prosperity churches teach that you can tell how much God likes you is by how much money he has bestowed on you. Of course, the prosperity churches teach you the best way to get God to like you more is to give more money to God via them. Fifield catered to mega millionaires, and he preached against the things they hated worse, from social security to welfare, they called it the welfare state. It is no wonder Christianity surged during that period it was being sold to Americans like toothpaste or deodorant. All the puppets dance from the strings of the ungodly greedy.
If you don’t believe it can all, be taken away in a minute, ask the people in North Carolina. A political storm can do just as much damage as a hurricane.
