In the eighties we saw the birth of the moral majority, now it has evolved into the immoral majority with the help of Trump. A new book “The Immoral Majority: Why Evangelicals Chose Political Power Over Christian Values” by Ben Howe. It relates how Jerry Falwell led demonstration against selling Playboy magazine in the 7/11 in the 80s but his son Jerry Falwell Jr endorsed Trump for President. Trump announcement on Twitter of the endorsement showed a picture of a Playboy Magazine on his wall. Since that time, we found out that Falwell Jr likes to watch more than Playboy.

“When you look into abyss, the abyss looks into you.” Certainly, the Christians began looking into the abyss of politics as they began to enter the political arena and the abyss began looking into them. It not only looked into them it changed them and the values of the Abyss have become the values of the Christians. People in the Christian movement coveted political power and were willing to sacrifice their values in order to get it. When you strike a deal with the devil you are sure to be cheated. Christians are quick to point out that there should be a separation between church and state but that only applies to the government it seems.

Today we have 28,239,241 cases of the Trump virus, on Monday we had 27,939,592 cases of the Trump virus. That means another 299,649 Americans have been diagnosed with the Trump virus since Monday.

The death toll stands at 500,291 today, the death toll stood at 490,672 on Monday. That means that another 9,619 Americans have died from the Trump virus since Monday.

We have had one ice storm after another, I have lost at least 30 trees, some a hundred years old. Between the power, the phone and the internet it is hard to keep them going.

We all know what the first big lie was and what the consequences were but now we are well on the way to the second big lie. Vice President Mike Pence’s chief of staff was on CNN this afternoon and when ask if Trump was responsible for the insurrection, he was quick to defend Trump claiming Trump was not responsible for the insurrection. How could the Vice President’s chief of staff defend Trump after the crowd had erected gallows to hang Pence? There can be only one answer Pence’s chief of staff has his eyes on a political future and believes that Trump still has the Midas touch that will ensure a golden political future. I would have to wonder what Pence thinks of his chief of staff’s action.

Pence’s chief of staff went over all of Trump’s lies about the election. Many of the things he cited took place before the election and the Trump administration took no action to correct them before the election but when Trump lost the election, they began nitpicking every detail looking for even the slightest imperfection to create a reason why Trump lost. Trump has kept his head down but plans to give a speech at the CPAC convention next Sunday. Vice President’s chief of staff and others will be laying down a red carpet of lies this week to create cover for Trump.

Today we have 28,325,029 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,239,241 cases of the Trump virus. That means that another 85,850 Americans were diagnosed with the Trump virus today.

The death toll stands at 502,493 today, yesterday the death toll stood at 500,291. That means that another 2,202 Americans died today from the Trump virus.

In yesterday post I failed to note that it was Pence’s ex-chief of staff. I wonder when he became an ex-chief of staff was it after he took up for Trump almost getting Pence and his family killed.

On Meet the Press today they showed the result of a poll that showed 50% of republicans believe that the insurrection was inspired by Antifa. That is clearly a case of who are you going to believe red neck right media or your lying eyes and it looks like most republicans are going to believe red neck right media. As soon as the insurrection began Fox News began lying that it was Antifa that was attacking the capital. We all know that over 300 people have been arrested for participating in the insurrection and not one of those is in anyway associated with Antifa. You would think that would be proof positive that Antifa had nothing to do with the insurrection but for people who believe the forest fires in California were started by Jews with laser beams from outer space, proof is never a consideration. When you live in a world of “alternate facts” any story is as valid as the next.

Today we have 28,403,664 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,325,029 cases of the Trump virus. That means that another 78,635 Americans were diagnosed with the Trump virus today.

The death toll stands at 503,916 today, yesterday the death toll stood at 502,493. That means that another 1,423 Americans died today from the Trump virus.

Trump actually thinks that he can run for president again after inciting the insurrection. There is not another country in the world that would let anyone who staged an unsuccessful coup run for office ever again in fact most of those that staged an unsuccessful are executed after the fact. Trump is going to the RNC spring donor retreat where hopeful presidential candidates for 2024 meet with perspective donors to fund their campaigns. After the insurrection several big corporate donors stopped their political contributions to the republican party. I wonder how many corporations would be willing to fund another presidential race for Trump.

Trump lost another supreme court case today. The supreme court ruled that Trump’s tax returns for the last 8 years will be turned over to the New York state prosecutor. Trump’s tax returns likely show proof of insurance fraud, bank fraud, and income tax fraud in addition to bribing porn stars. Trump has a habit of vastly undervaluing his properties for property tax values and vastly overvaluing the same properties for bank loans. When you buy a property for a few million and then list its value as $50 million on a bank loan application, that is fraud and punishable by jail time. There is also an investigation in Georgia for Trump’s interference in the election. Maybe Trump can run his campaign from jail.

Today we have 28,463,318 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,403,664 cases of the Trump virus. That means that another 59,654 Americans were diagnosed with the Trump virus today.

The death toll stands at 505,235 today, yesterday the death toll stood at 503,916. That means that another 1,319 Americans died today from the Trump virus.

Over a half million Americans died from the Trump virus, more deaths than WWI, WWII, and the Vietnam war combined but according to Trump it was no worse than the flu.

@Region Philbis,
I would think that Pence will still need staff even after he was no longer vice president and would keep his chief of staff but I wonder if Pence would agree with his former chief of staff.

Republicans get elected by keeping people from voting. Democrats get elected by getting more people to vote. We are going to see the republicans try to put this in force in the next election. One republican proposal to restrict voting is requiring two picture IDs. I don’t have two picture IDs and don’t know why I would have. Another is that you would need to be finger printed and your thump print would be taken when you voted. Either proposal would severely restrict the number of people who vote in an election.

In Georgia Trump made much of the fact that 6% of the vote were rejected in the election for governor of Georgia a few years ago but during the presidential election only about 0.6% were rejected. That is easy to explain as the current governor was the secretary of state and was responsible for overseeing the election an election, he had a vested interest in. That should never be, you should never oversee an election where you were running. The current secretary had no vested interest in the election outcome.

The CPAC conference starts tomorrow and looks like it is going to be a regular liar’s circus. Most of the speaker’s topics will reinforce Trump’s lies. Then on Sunday the liars, liar, Trump will speak. One speech will be about “Other culprits: Why Judges and Media refused to look at the evidence” by Rep Mo Brooks. Jason Chaffetz, a Fox New contributor, will give a speech titled “The Left Pulled the Strings, Covered It Up, and Even Admits It.”

Jenny Beth Martin, cofounder of the Tea Party Patriots, will be a featured speaker. She says “we will not let them steal this election.” QAnon believes Trump will be returned to office on March 4th because that day use to be the day that presidents were inaugurated. Up until the 25 amendment was ratified in 1933 inauguration days was March 4. The CPAC conference is meant to stir up the crazies and lead to another uprising. Trump uses the crazies like other people use a cannon, They, just point them in the direction and then light a fire under them and watch what happens.

Today we have 28,608,931 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,526,532 cases of the Trump virus. That means that another 82,399 Americans were diagnosed with Trump virus today.

Trump has had to lay low like every other criminal after they commit a crime but way too many of his lackies are still supporting his lies for political gain. Trump left the White House with his tail tucked between his legs but now believes he has yet another opportunity to cause a civil war in America. Trump knows that 74 million people voted for him and will be willing to die for him just as people did die for him during the first insurrection. Trump will never give up on pushing the big lie. Several CPAC conferences are planned to continue to push the big lie, this serves to legitimize the big lie in the minds of many.

The law suits have been filed and eventually they will cost the people on the right that have been pushing the big lie billions but it will take years for the cases to work their way through court. Fox News and others outright slandered companies accusing them of fixing the election without and shred of evidence. You just can’t slander companies on national television without proof. Several of Trump’s lawyers have also been sued and will lose in court. If the law suits were decided now when Trump got up and started his lying the press could reference the lawsuits. Trump lost almost every one of his lawsuits what do you want to bet that the companies will win their slander lawsuits in court.

Today we have 28,672,191 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,608,931 cases of the Trump virus. That means that another 63,260 Americans were diagnosed with Trump virus today.

The death toll stands at 512,558 today, yesterday the death toll stood at 509,887. That means that another 2,671 Americans died today from the Trump virus.

@Region Philbis,
I am afraid that Trump is not threw doing damage to America he has way to many enablers who hope to gain personally. Too many republicans are looking to take advantage of the situation and don't care how much damage is done to the country. They just consider that collateral damage.

The evening news showed the golden statue of Trump shoved down the hall at the CPAC conference. It is being liken to the golden calf in the bible. Come to think of it, Trump does look a little like a calf. This will give his followers something to worship while he is not there. Next, they will make golden Trump statues crucified on a cross of public opinion. You have to see the golden statue of Trump being pushed down the hall to believe it.

Now Moscow Mitch has recanted after his angry speech after Trump’s impeachment when he blamed Trump for the insurrection and only voted against convicting him because Trump was already out of office. He has made a 180-degree turning now saying he will support Trump if he runs for president in 2024. The republican party needs to change its name to Trumpies because that is truth in labelling. During Trump’s term in office, he lost both the House of Representatives and the Senate and followed that up by losing the election by a landslide. No political party in history has ever considered letting a loser like that run for reelection. Trump has created the biggest cult in the history of America. There are 74 million members of the Trump cult in America. Jim Jones and David Koresh would be green with envy but we all know how those cults ended.

Today we have 28,761,741 cases of the Trump virus, yesterday we had 28,672,191 cases of the Trump virus. That means another 89,550 Americans were diagnosed with the Trump virus today.

The death toll stands at 515,138 today, yesterday the death toll stood at 512,558. That means that another 2,580 Americans died today from the Trump virus.

@Zardoz,
It's not the Trump virus. It's the Biden virus.

Joe Biden saw to it that the virus would take root in America when he disrupted the government with a frivolous impeachment throughout the entire first month of the pandemic.

Mr. Trump brought us early vaccines to protect us from the virus... early vaccines that slowed right down once Mr. Biden took over.

Biden was not responsible for the impeachment, in any way. This has been pointed out to you repeatedly. Nor was any of Trump's early pandemic response affected — because there wasn't one. No, it's the Trump Virus.

Quote:
Feb. 16 (UPI) -- The Biden administration will increase the vaccine supply to states to 13.5 million doses per week, up from 11 million last week.

The distribution is 57% higher than the number of vaccines states received when the president was inaugurated.

upi
And more vaccine is going out now. There's a good graph of the rollout HERE. And remember, the vaccinations are projected to continue through the summer. Temporary disruptions are pretty insignificant when you look at the whole picture. There are also differences in distribution plans among various states.

And, in a practical sense, there would be no reason for the new administration to purposely slow the process, either for political or public health reasons. Your contention is merely unproven, and obviously biased, speculation.

The impeachment was an election stunt to damage his opponent.

There wasn't one because of the impeachment.

Mr. Biden caused it. It should be named after him.

To date my area has still gotten more vaccines under Mr. Trump than we have under Mr. Biden.

8,100 doses by early January.

10,150 more doses when Mr. Trump released the reserves.

And 14,950 doses under Mr. Biden.

Why isn't your state in control of the process like every other state? And why would Biden seek to micromanage the distribution in any one particular state? Something doesn't make sense.
