The WHO even said the virus didn't spread from person to person for several weeks they made this claim, while the virus spread around the world. HT even proved one of my points not long ago with the "experts" and the mixed "expert advice" they have been handing out over the last few months. One day it's not possible for asympathetic people to spread the virus, 2 days later they walk back their remarks and the left is silent on their killing of people because of bad advice. Much like the bleach event that the media pushed and waited for someone to try it, then when they did, they blamed Trump, when they said bleach. China claimed it was something else, don't rewrite history. It was a mystery phenomena, that they didn't relate to a human spreadable virus. Once again, don't try to rewrite history, it wasn't until late into January that it was finally admitted that this was a human spreadable disease. At that point, the US locked it's borders to China and not long after that to EU. We were one of the first countries to do so, the rest of the world followed within a few hours to days.

Trump was working off of the available data as it was known. Even Dr. Fauci was claiming that the virus wasn't that bad into and people shouldn't worry to much, the expert was saying this on Jan 26th interviews:
