That quarter mile head start on the coronavirus was extremely important and you never underestimate Jason
The virus got that head start on the President because of the Democrats and their sham impeachment.
@coldjoint,
The trade deals are just another of Trump cons for chumps. If you actually read the deals you will see they are just cons. For instance the deal with South Korea we get to sell another 20,000 cars. It had been 5,000 but we never sold over 2,000 cars ever in Korea. This is how a con works it looks good on paper but it is just air. Meanwhile the tariffs are making goods 25% to 50% higher. If you are for higher prices Trump is your man. The conservative judges won't last long as most our corrupt and will be removed from office or die of coronavirus.
@Zardoz,
No one is going to be removing conservative judges from office. They are anything but corrupt.
Progressive judges are more likely to be vulnerable to COVID-19. But Mr. Trump will pick the new replacements no matter which ones die.
The tariffs help to protect American workers.
@oralloy,
It did not disrupt 2 million federal employees. All that it amounted to was going to your lawyer office and saying I want you to take care of this. If you are buying property they will call you when all the work is done and tell you to come sign the papers. Trump was never an active participant in the impeachment he did not even have to sign the papers. Trump was too busy cutting stuff he wants smaller and smaller government that could never respond to a national disaster. Trump knew as everyone else did that the fix was in and there was no way to come up with a 2/3 majority needed to convict him.

But it did disrupt the White House.

That doesn't change the fact that being on trial is a huge distraction for someone.

An innocent person's hope for a just verdict does not make a trial any less distracting.
@oralloy,
Everybody knew that Trump called on the Russians to interfere in the election and they did exactly that and as soon as he was not impeached for calling on the Russians to interfere in the election he extorted the Ukrainians by stopping the military aid. Extortion is a crime in any jurisdiction.
@Zardoz,
It is hardly illegal for the US government to withhold aid from other countries to pressure them into doing what we want them to do.
@coldjoint,
It did not happen on Obama watch. Obama did not watch as thousands died in China every night. Trump just listened to Rush Slimbaugh tell the country it was no worse than the common cold and Trump said as much. You can have 10 people run across the road and not get hit but if you get hit you better be prepared and Trump had notice it was coming but he believed Rush Slimbaugh. America should be ashamed that we did far worse than any other country in the world not by a little bit we have nearly three times as many coronavirus cases. Just as Trump bankrupted eight of his businesses the coronavirus is only the beginning the economic damage will be far worse and last far longer.
@Zardoz,
The depletion of federal supplies happened on Mr. Obama's watch.
Mr. Trump was busy being impeached during the first month of the pandemic.
We now have 434,114 cases of coronavirus, yesterday we had 399,617. That means we had an additional 34,497 cases of coronavirus just today.
The death toll now stands 14,762, yesterday it was 12,878. That means there was 1,884 deaths today and you can bet the majority of them were Rush Slimbaugh listeners.
Today we have 464,865 cases of coronavirus, yesterday we had 434,114. That means we had 30,751 new cases of coronavirus today. We have more cases of coronavirus in one state (New York 159,397) than in any other country in the world (Spain has 153,222 cases of the coronavirus.) Just like Trump bankrupted all his businesses that is the way he is running the country’s war on coronavirus. Soon we will be like Germany after WWII where it took a bigger grocery cart to take the worthless money to the store than it took to take the grocery back.
The death toll is now 16,498, yesterday it was 14,672. That means that 1,826 more Americans died today of coronavirus we will call them Donald deaths because that is who is responsible.
@oralloy,
It is one thing to withhold military aid to put a stop to corruption in that country because corruption would lead to all that military aid going into the pockets of the corrupt. It is quite different when military aid is withheld to enrich the president that is extortion. What’s it worth to Trump to have a bogus investigation of a political rival set up by a foreign country? Millions to win the election and keep him out of jail for four more years. Trump would make out far better than the crooks in the foreign country.
It is all about who receives the benefit, America or Trump.
@oralloy,
My daughter is on the front lines of the coronavirus fight, she is a respiratory therapist. She has always had plenty personal protective equipment until Trump took office. She has never seen a shortage in 25 years. Now she is lucky to have one mask a week and we have very little coronavirus in the area. Trump has been in office for nearly four years any shortage should have been taken care of by Trump. It is Trump’s responsibility. How many years must Trump be in office before he is responsible for anything?
Trump was busy playing golf most of the time. The taxpayers have paid tens of millions of dollars to run him to play golf at his golf courses. If Trump had spent a tenth of as much time on getting ready for the pandemic, we would not have half as many deaths. Trump spent a hundred times more time playing golf than on the impeachment.
@coldjoint,
The flu happens every year, one variation or another. H1N1 was so minor that I did not bother to take a flu shot that year. Do you remember how many months the country was shut down for the H1N1? There is a good reason it did not happen. Every year 16,000 people die from the flu but 16,000 die of the coronavirus in a few weeks. A pandemic shows up every 100 years or so H1N1 was not a pandemic.
@oralloy,
Impeachment did not disrupt Trump one little bit he never missed even one weekend of golf. Trump has taken 50 times the vacations of any other president in history.
If impeachment was a distraction Trump would not have spent almost every weekend playing golf at one of his golf clubs.
Trump was guilty and would have been tried and convicted in any court of law and that is of many different crimes. Only a justice department memo stopped Trump from being charged with crimes. In a court of law Trump would be convicted instead of a political arena where he had the majority.
@coldjoint,
The only thing Trump gets done on the golf course is cheating. Trump is one of the most dishonest people on the face of the earth. What he is doing is charging the taxpayers millions for use of his golf courses. Even secret service has to pay for the use of Trump’s golf carts to protect his sorry ass.
We now have 502,513 cases of coronavirus, yesterday we had 464,865. That means we have an additional 37,648 cases of coronavirus. We now have 27% of all the coronavirus cases in the world. Trump can now claim he has the most coronavirus cases in the world.
The death toll now stands at 18,679, yesterday it was 16,498, In just one day an additional 2,181 Americans died today.
