Hospice staff just left, new program has been started to do in-home physical therapy, If my health continues to improve, I will be added to the program.

@dyslexia,
ooooooooh... well, the PT will tire you.. BUT... it will also give you back some energy (I know, that sounds stoopid) - but it would give you a focus Bob... wishing for improved health

love to you and Lady Di
xx

Can there ever come a point when the staff evicts you from hospice care and tries to make you healthy again? I envision a Donald-Trump kind of scene. "Mr Dyslexia, you suck at dying. You're fired!"

@Thomas,
actually Thomas I asked that very question, the answer is NO, My primary diagnosis determines my Hospice eligibility and my diagnosis includes "un-treatable" If selected for this new program it will simply be in an addition to current Hospice services; ie, I can also as for and get (no charge) and electric adjustable hospital bed. (don't want one)

I like that last sentence, Bob.
The bit about your health continuing to improve.
That cheers me enormously.
Hooray. Way to go! Very Happy

The first sentence (about starting physical therapy) sounded pretty good, too!

Interesting; hospice nurse just left, no changes in morphine or lorazepam taken at bedtime but added Lortab every 6 hours during awake hours for pain control. Should here back by Thursday re in-home Physical Therapy. O2 blood saturation hold over 90 (very good sign) I attribute improved wellness to taking all my meds with the better quality of booze I'm drinking now that the medications are free and I have more cash available.

@George,
This is the first time I've heard the expression, George. Obviously, I've lived a very sheltered life.

I've heard of Jewish penicillin. Does that count?

And she loves me like a rock
She rocks me like the rock of ages
And she loves me
She loves me, loves me, loves me, loves me
