Reminds me of a machine shop I used to work in. "Remember the small stuff we were not going to sweat, Kelly?" got to be a pretty common expression. Kelly was the owner, and he often didn't think things through to the end.

You can get it from Amazon.They have a paperback. You can also get it as a Kindle e book for 8 bucks, even if you don't have a Kindle. The book can be read on the internet.

I am so glad that you are posting.

Mr and Mrs Walter arrived here sunday afternoon, we managed to go out for dinner to our favorite restaurant sunday evening and had a wonderful evening, this was the first time I had been out to dinner in several years. It's very nice to have quests that treat us both (Diane and meself) as our ordinary selves instead of lepers. Today the ladies are going to Santa Fe to visit the La Fonda, I'm sure they will have a wonderful time; Walter will spend the day here with me listening to my elitist harangue about how superior I am compared to other a2k'rs. I took my morning dosage of morphine so that might slow down my ego just a tad. We all spent hours on the patio yesterday watching the hummingbirds with perfect weather.

@dyslexia,
Grandpa! Does this mean that there may be some contact with your daughter?

Dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Walter sounds delish. Glad you got a chance to go out and enjoy.

That sounds very lovely and I am glad, dys, that you were able to get out
of the house and for dinner.

Grandpa? So you did receive some feedback from your ex and/or daughter?
I sure hope so, that would be so nice for you to see them..

@Walter Hinteler,
Walter/Ulla are departing tomorrow morning, I will mist them immediately. I don't expected to have any visitors after then are gone, I'm guessing Lady Diane and I will be pretty much alone from here on aside from the Hospice staff.

@dyslexia,
You'll get a little note from me (courtesy of another poster) mailed from overseas when I didn't know if and when I'll be back in New York.....have to leave again soon, but hope to visit sometime late next month (if all goes well, as I expect) - and btw, is it too late for you to go back and correct typo in "miss"? Of course your guests know it's a typo, but the whole message reads really in an unintended fashion if you look at it and happen to be thinking in German Smile
