Walter will be making his annual sojourn from his home in Germany to the US Desert South-west this coming May 2011, this time bringing Frau Walter. After spending some time here in New Mexico they want to make a scenic drive from Albaturkey to San Francisco so I planned their trip. Albaturkey to Flagstaff/Grand Canyon/Kayenta Az-Monument Valley/Moab UT-Canyonlands-Arches Nat Park-Dead Horse Point/Salt Lake/Reno/San Francisco. I'm estimating 5/6 days. From San Francisco they plan on flying back to some east-coast urban slum but that's their problem.
@dyslexia,
Remember to mow the sand and trim the armadillo.

I have driven with Walter, my original estimate was 7/8 days, on the other hand I know he will need large amounts of camera time.
@dyslexia,
upon further consideeration, when Lady Diane drove that stretch between the great salt lake and Reno we were in the Porsche and Lady Diane was driving. She seemed to have a need to drive at 140mph while I argued that she should give it down to 125mph.
