Screw her and Lautenberg.

I find it noteworthy that mainstream gun control advocates always want to make an exception for the police.

I'm curious if the police have any use for high-capacity magazines that would not also apply to a civilian defending themselves.

Why exempt the police?

Maybe it's because mainstream gun control advocates (liberals) are not self reliant and they always wait for the police to rescue them.
You never know when the police will be needed to put-down civil unrest and allowing the police to keep high capacity mags makes liberals feel more secure.

If someone just walked up to you and fire a round into your brain it does not matter if you are arm with a nuclear weapon as far as the outcome in concern.

That same 'someone' may think twice and change course once the nuclear weapon comes into view.

@H2O MAN,
Personally I would be far happier if the police went back to revolvers and was taught how to shot or even used a damn build in laser sight.

The idea of some nerve cops emptying high-capacity magazines in the general direction of the bad guys with little or no concern about where most of the rounds will be impacting is not a good feeling.

@BillRM,
I agree.

Marksmanship skills are lacking in our military and almost non existent when it comes to local LE.

I'm sure things would improve if they could shoot to kill once again and have the amount of duty ammo carried greatly restricted.

That 's exactly what it IS.
Thay wanna rely upon the collective
for their very existence, NOT on the Individual.

Gun control, or freedom of self-defense
is the pivotal point, the fork in the road.
Will the collective hold the Individual (who created it) in docile subjection,
or
will the Individual remain FREE,
being stingy in his grudging gift of jurisdiction to the collective,
and its henchman, government ?

I prefer revolvers, for my own security. I don t trust pistols; jam too much
and I don't like them spraying brass on the ground,
with identifying marks on them.

@H2O MAN,
What do u think of defensive ammo ?

My preference is hollowpointed .44 special,
with W-I-D-E cavities, to put the brakes on
in the target, for a maximal energy dump.

@OmSigDAVID,
I like Speer Gold Dot 45 ACP 230 Grain Jacketed Hollow Point Ammunition for home defense and personal protection.

Muzzle Velocity: 890 fps
Muzzle Energy: 405 ft. lbs.

Shot out of what?
I favor revolvers for mechanical reliability.
Large, slow slugs are the way to go.

I don't accept your reasoning.
When all is said n done,
I believe he 'll be found to be a leftist,
or too scrambled to have any recognizable ideology.

We 'll see.

@OmSigDAVID,
She's not talking about political ideology...she's talking about paranoia and the belief that killing is cool.

At the end of November 1963, my friends were asking me
if I just got back from Dallas.
