Maybe the point could be elaborated upon.......I was thinking that it was that her political career is over and that she will never be great at politics, but maybe I am wrong. Because she is now a celeb and because everyone will want for her to be successful no matter how little that she can actually do she can still do great things. Being liked and having people invest there hopes an dreams into you is a huge chunk of success.

We have changed a great deal on this...last season on Mad Men a new hotshot exec got his foot chewed up in the blades of a John Deer tractor. On that very day his bosses moved him out of the company, as being damaged meant that he could no longer be successful. Now that we celebrate victims and make every manor of concessions to their inability to preform through personal injury or defect so a gun shot to the head only ends productive life if the person ends up a vegetable. Otherwise we will call what ever they do success, and we will cheer. And we will feel great about ourselves. Not as much will get done as should be, but we dont care, it is all about feeling good now, doing good was what our ancestors cared about.

Sometimes I hear that, other times I get told that I am proud and/or that I take objectionable opinions for thrills.....I think I understand how Kati Holmes must feel when she reads the tabloids.

No one votes for bodies... The body has to say: Vote for Me!... Saying I want toast never go a person elected lickspittle in this country... If people wanted some one with half a brain elected, they would just vote republican... If you want to change the minds of republicans who are one sided, minimally dimensioned, single issue people who think first, and usually only of money, then you need some one able to show them it is in their best interest to appear other than what they are once in a while... It does not always work... All of the folks in office seem dim wits, but that is the object at least, to send some one capable... And that ain't her, no matter how many monument they build to her.

Washington is broken, our political system no longer works at the national level, capable people have no desire to waste their life doing politics. So far as I know the bullet did render our subject a vegetable, she should be good enough so far as the people are concerned given the lack of alternatives.

Once the American people wake up, and then decide to launch a rebellion as the Egyptians just did THEN it will be a different story, as then politics will matter again and good people will want to to it.

It is a good sign that you recognize your lack of popularity. However, you fail to discover its cause.

This is a man that would clearly benefit from some therapy. Since he can recognize and admit that he is disliked here, it is perfectly acceptable to lead him a step down the path.

Your logic failed. There is no reason why a victim is not an abuser or an abuser a victim. Masochism and sadism often exist within the same person. Think it out.

In my opinion I have read some very good work from the both of you over the past year but I would like to share a few facts with you and then I will no longer derail this thread!
I try and make judgements of character about everyone on this site but I do know that more often than not I am wrong about you because I do not have enough info about you.
I do not have the ability to understand every thing about you all, "even if I did have all the info about you I could be wrong in my judgements!

Keep in mind that we all are wrong at times when we judge each other.

Also keep in mind that I said that she plays a bitch persona, and that she claims that I AM a misogynist....I trust that you can see the difference...
