I can understand not liking him, but you either aren't paying enough attention to Trump's career or you are seriously underestimating him if you think that is all he is.

Me too. Sounds like the kiss of death, but I've way underestimated Trump's staying power.

@McGentrix,
I give him credit for media, gambling casino and commercial real estate mogul. He deftly manipulated the corporate welfare loopholes and the out-of-control banking system to resurrect his fortunes by declaring bankruptcy more than once, I believe. That alone is in immediate disqualification for Presidential role.

His racially charged utterances about minorities and Mexicans immigration with intention toward polarization and his brilliant 'build a wall' at the border between US and Mexico is pure dangerous fantasy. Foreign nations must be wondering if the electorate has gone totally insane.

Ragman, I like you so I will try to put this as gently as possible........ The first test of a politician is the ability that they have to command following. Trump has it like we have not seen in a long while. Policy skill comes after always, and as the government continues to get more complicated and powerful policy wonkism becomes increasingly not important because it is an impossible goal. It is the ability to delegate, the ability to recognize truth, the ability to recognize ones own failings, the devotion to the people, and the ability to inspire that all are more important than policy expertise.

What we see so often in the Left and in the journalists is a complete confusion on where they are. A lot of the Little People are not so afflicted.

All this indicates is a widespread underlying agreement with Trump's overt racism. The practicalities of his supposed "cures" for the problems the US is facing, are simply not tenable. Just so much piss in the wind.

He did say some time back, that if he was to run for the job, he'd do it on a republican ticket, because of just that angle.

He knows how to bait the hook, and reel you in. It's not rocket science.

What's needed to convince everyone that it's actually worth voting again, is someone who isn't rich, doesn't cowtow to a corporate donor (0r ten), and has a plan for the nation that includes a clear and concise funding arrangement, coupled with a long-term goal of ridding the nation of the corrupted federal reserve and TBTF banksters.

Until then, the oligarchy under which you live, will prevail, regardless of which of the two major parties "wins" office.

Ya you know what...the days when people felt that we no longer have a right to their beliefs because others put nasty labels on them is long over. Make your case with facts/evidence/argument, and then take your self created fancy tags and shove them up your ass.

Do we have an understanding?

You need to do WAY better than calling me a racist, because I dont give a flying **** what the stupid think, I only care about where reality is.

If that were true, you'd realise what a farce the whole election process has become.

Now as for evidence, you're the one saying he's a shoo-in for the job. What is he offering the nation, apart from rounding up "wet-backs" and building a wall to keep them out?

What are his foreign policy changes? How will he implement national health care without either enriching insurers, or bankrupting millions of people? What are his long-term goals for getting the nation out of debt? These are the critical issues.

What are his policies that you think make him right for the top job?

Take your time.

Snood came at me with the same question and I will tell you what I told him...I am voting anti elite, I am voting for the man, I dont really care what his policies are. As Obama said just yesterday said the Presidency is a way less powerful than a stupid guy like The Professor thought it was in 08, and I am casting a protest vote. Anything trump gets done that is harmful the next president can fix, I am not particularly concerned with any fear that Trump will **** me anymore than the rest of the assholes in Washington have been doing for years.

Did you notice that Trump is considered as able as Hillary to deal with the Daesh? Put that in your pipe and smoke it. You are delusional in your poor opinion of Mr Don Trump.

Late edit; which means Daesh will continue to be the bogey man that creates huge profits for the MIC. Nothing will change.

You can keep your head in the sand over the reality of Daesh, but there's no doubts in any thinking person's mind that they are another mercenary force, used to foment civil strife, to justify "boots on the ground" from NATO.

Try and keep up. Trump nor Hillary has the where-withall to do anything about them. Just like the current commander in chief.

Lets talk about racism because you guys get talking about Trump's racist talk about immigration.

Racism is defined as
Quote:
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.

I've yet to hear Trump say "Let's send them wetbacks back across the border." That's racist. I have not heard Trump say all Mexicans are murders and rapists. That's racist.

I have heard Trump say that people illegally in the US should be expelled. Being against illegal immigration is not racist. It's nationalist. You guys use the term racist and you are wrong in doing so. The only reason you do is because it causes prejudice against him by using derogatory terms. When you repeatedly use a term incorrectly, all it does is make the word no longer meaningful.

Trump is not a racist. He is a nationalist and will be a fine President should he be elected.

Have you forgotten the hanging chad election and the voter ballot fraud confab in state of FL under Jeb's governorship? Not to mention the gerrymandering of districts going in FL and other states. How convenient your memory gaps are. Or is this a blatant intentional obfuscation?

Believing in laws and border control is not racism. Wanting to remove people who are here illegally is not racism. THe fact that the corporate media charges Trump with racism without cause is yet another slam on Corporate media, it is not Trumps failure. He did nothing to deserve the charge, he is the fair one, the one who is advocating for justice.

@McGentrix,
Well, to be exact, Trump did say that Mexico is not sending their best, that Mexico sends it's people that have lots of problems and they're bringing those problems with us. He said that they're bringing drugs, crime, and that they're rapists. He also assumes that some are good people.

Later he made the distinction that he was referring to illegal immigrants in general.

The fact is that the vast majority of illegal immigrants don't bring drugs and aren't rapists. The crime that many of them have committed is to have entered the country improperly. Others are present unlawfully. Unlawful presence is not a criminal offense. Its a civil offense.

The word "racism" also refers to out-group intolerance and discrimination.

Trump's untrue assertions specifically stereotyped Mexican immigrants and later, illegal immigrants in general. His assertions were intolerant and discriminatory, i.e. they were racist.

He said that the illegal Mexicans tend to be low quality people, that we can do better by having borders and by using a legal immigration system, and he is completely correct.

@InfraBlue,
Do illegal immigrants come to America and commit crimes, carry drugs and rape people?

Answer me this, is there a number of women that get raped acceptable to you? 1? 20? 100? How many women need to be raped before you find the need to keep illegal aliens out of our country?
