No, he's a rich kid who started out with millions and has made a career out of stiffing people who build his projects, driving many of them out of business. He comes out of the New York commercial real estate business, where the motto is: If I can cheat you I will. This is the guy who is asking for your vote in November, who wants us to believe he will do his level best for us. Seriously.

This is an unusual election in several respects;

The binary external issues that dominated the 20th century are behind us and the world has become a much more complex (In terms of the number of serious variables afoot) than it has been in a long while.

The country is a good deal more polarized politically on the social economic and external issues it faces than it has been for several decades.

For a variety of reasons unusually flawed candidates have emerged in both parties. That coupled with the polarization and the complexity we face appear to have created an atmosphere in which dialogue and reasonable compromise are impossible.

I think all that is reflected in the chaotic and unreasoning vitriol being cast about on these threads.

Also, do you feel that this is directed towards you george? Or maybe it's just directed to the more low-class posters on this board, who instead of trying to have reasoned discussions, they'd rather ignore arguments and shout down others.

I think the major issue for most Americans are the slow gains in their income vs inflation. Also, that college graduates find it more difficult to find jobs.
