Trump has filed for bankruptcy four times and has made money off of it leaving the people without jobs or pensions. This is they guy you think would be good for the country?

Lots of the elite have used the bankruptcy laws for personal advantage. Trump has a great case with "I followed the rules, if you dont like the rules then change them, but dont blame me that you did not".

Trump gets a pass. He also gets a pass for all the ******* gold leaf and gold plating that he has in his houses, planes and copters since he claims to be fighting for competence in management. Winners should be able to buy all the gold they can afford.

@hawkeye10,
You obviously miss the point, no surprise. This guy is not out for the good of the American people. If he so little ethical values as to leave people without pensions and proud of that fact, what would he do to the unfortunates in our country while he is busy making a profit? He would probably make Cheney and Haliburton look like a charitable institution if we would all be so unfortunate as to have him as president.

then you have to be fair and hate Hillary too, they both have pursued max personal financial enrichment, and Hillary clearly cares less for the rules while doing it than Trump does.

OOPS!

Did she build casinos, fail at it, file for bankruptcy and skip out of town without trying to make it right for the employees and then brag about it?

Trump is not going to get hung for Atlantic City because it is very clear that the major problem with Atlantic City is that the politicians who ran the city completely bungled their jobs. Atlantic City is a pro Trump argument not an anti trump argument.

You have NEVER heard me claim to have no clue why Trump is so popular at the moment.

Donald trump is a known quantity. At least each of us has encountered a bigmouth at one time in our life who claims he/she has all the answers and everyone else is left wanting. Trump appeals to a very distinctive angry Demographic who want their country back and screw the rules of society. Trump putting others down as if they were insects, insignificantly small, is what this particular demographic crave, someone to speak for them. Trump revealed his true colors during the 2008 presidential campaign when he claimed Obama was a stealth candidate born in Kenya. He knew better, but many in Congress pretended not to know for sure. Trump's poll ratings began to rise and it appeared he wasn't going away. Even now the jackass will not admit he was wrong about Obama's birth certificate.

Trump is a man who appeals to the lowest common denominator of filth in humans, the eerily dark side of Homo sapiens.

@edgarblythe,
so Trumpetty Trump is in the running for the Top Job, and the tenancy of the White House the "best democracy that cash can buy". Trump comes across as a bit of a clown, a Ronald MakDonald clown. All the front runners appear to mediocrities, grey people with no personalities, and small ambitions.

To quote Colin Powell, a Republican who voted for Obama, there is a virulent strain of intolerance within the veins of some Republicans. I agree with the General one hundred percent. Not only are they against minorities, but Gays, same-sex marriages, abortions even when it's to save the mother's life, or incest by the father, and a path for citizenship for immigrants! The Republicans are so far behind the times it's almost as if they're from another planet. The Republicans frighten me, badly!

We should be intolerant of incompetence in government and being lied to by government and having the government abuse us.

given that just about everyone who was talking up till about a month ago was completely wrong about Trumps political abilities and his appeal to the nation again your connection with reality is clearly faulty.

Mainstream America do not vote overwhelmingly for Republicans. Traditionally, during mid-term elections, non-presidential campaigns, a large segment of American voters tend to stay home. It is at this vulnerable time and opportunity when many upside-down Republicans get elected to Congress. The GOP realizes it has to apply voter repression against minorities in order to dare hope to capture the While House; the reason, the Republicans policies are so repulsive the average American would never vote for them.

I guess if one of the Democrats win in 2016, there will be mass suicides among the GOP! Very Happy

That is self delusion, and based upon the posts of yours that I have read I think the likely reason the delusion exists is to give yourself an excuse to continue to sneer at anyone who is not like you. You are the modern Lefts version of Archie Bunker, and every bit as repulsive I assure you.

EDIT: and I suspect that you are young and stupid, that you are a product of university indoctrination without sufficient life experience to see beyond the Bullshit that the elite shovel. I would be very surprised if you are more than 25.

I sneer at stupidity, people who dont produce, and especially at people who make lame excuses for why they dont produce. I sneer at people who dont contribute to the collective, it has nothing to do with whether they are like me or not. You might have noticed that I have spent many years here pushing for a diversity of opinion, your claim is clearly groundless.

3 Ways Donald Trump Has behaved Like a Sociopath Toward Workers
Alternet.org
August 14, 2015

THERE'S BEEN A LOT OF FOCUS ON TRUMP'S CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS, BUT NOT HIS CONTROVERSIAL LABOR RECORD

Everyone is talking about Donald Trump; supporters, critics and pundits.
While many liberals laugh the celebrity's presidential candidacy off as a joke, there are parts of Trump's platform that are to the left of many establishment Democrats.

For instance, Trump is a critic of NAFTA and seems to be the only GOP candidate who doesn't want to take a hatchet to Social Security.
These facts don't necessarily contradict his controversial comments about Mexicans or his fear-mongering over China, as white racial anxieties have long been a staple of populist campaigns, on the left and on the right.

While Trump's economic stances might be more complex than many let on, there has been very little discussion about the labor issues which have surrounded a number of his real estate projects.

Here are the three most glaring Trump labor scandals:
1) - Many of the workers constructing a Trump International Hotel in DC are undocumented.
2) - Trump Tower was build by Polish immigrants who were paid $5/hour.
3) - A worker fell to his death constructing Trump SoHo.

Out of all of those Trump branded buildings and golf courses only one worker has died in the construction? That is FABULOUS! Has anyone given Trump an award yet?
