@H2O MAN,
The most basic problem with the dems, aside from the gangsterism of course, is that they never learned any new skills coming out of the 1930s and the depression. They don't even claim to do anything other than represent victims and, where nature does not produce victims in sufficient quantity, they seek to either create them or import them.

There's really nothing else there, it's a pure power trip. Pubbies almost went crazy for a year or two trying to figure out the KKKlintlers i.e. just what the **** do these two actually BELIEVE in until it finally dawned on them, i.e. basically nothing, other than looking out for number one.

@OmSigDAVID,
The thing that's so amazing about communism is that any of these assholes would still WANT it but, apparently, they do.

I mean, at time I've spoken with Russians old enough that their parents or grandparents lived under the tsars and I've always asked them the same question i.e.

Quote:
Жизн в россии была хуже под царями, или под коммунистами?

And the answer always comes back the same way i.e. that life under the tsars was so bad that it never occurred to anybody it would get worse, but guess what? It didn't just get a little bit worse; after ten or twelve years of
THAT **** people were talking about tsarist times like the good old days.

@OmSigDAVID,
Why would I be happier in North Korea? I made a good living here in the US, and now draw social security and Medicare benefits.

All my brothers and I served in the US military.

When did I ever say I was against freedom? You are a liar or a conservative who loves to use your own imagination about this world.

U have in almost all of your posts; its heavily implied.

Our difference in principle is that I FAVOR (VERY INTENSELY FAVOR) FREEDOM, whereas u oppose it,
and wish to curtail it as much as possible.

For many decades, close to 100% of my political motivation has been personal freedom from interference of government,
knowing that personal liberty and the domestic jurisdiction of government are INVERSELY PROPORTIONAL.

In other words:
as ice is made out of water,
so also personal freedom is made out of the INCAPACITIES of government.

I am FREE where government is CRIPPLED,
in its domestic jurisdiction.

U wish to EXPAND the domestic jd of government; shame on u.

You'll never win this exchange, CI.

Their foggy perception is their reality. Debates are won on valid points and reason, it can't be won when neither are recognized.

I wish every goddam tough guy who wants we filthy freedom hating individuals to move to another country would get their sacks up, come to my home and attempt to send me on my way. They would learn that they don't have a monopoly on being willing to blow someone's ******* brains out, and I'm not the only "liberal" who would pursue that course of acton.

@blueveinedthrobber,
If someone knocks on your door and demands you leave the US, by all means introduce them to whatever firearm you may have, but, unless I missed the post, no one on this thread has insisted you leave.

It's a bit tough to lay claim to a passion for freedom when one is OK with left-wing policies.

A typical Rush Limbo type of sweeping statement.
I reject the lying misrepresentation of the right. Im especially fond of the really good "slogans" that have crept into our language based on your "freedom loving" cohorts. Stuff like "DEATH PANELS"

and "GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE"

Always remember that when the clowns on the right complain about "government run health care," they are not talking about medicare . . .

@Setanta,
There are several contradictions about conservatives and benefits provided by our governments; it's social security (they want to privatize it), Medicare, public transportation, national security, food and drug safety, our public parks, libraries, justice system, and everything that government does for the people. They just don't want to tax the rich more, because they claim it's a transfer from the wealthy to the poor - all while our deficit grows.

I just wonder how the GOP is able to sustain itself as a political party.

How many hypocrites do we have in the US?

You reject the truth? Death panels and Government run health care are realities under your almighty government, as run by liberal Democrats, farmer.
