@H2O MAN,
When you are finally smart enough and sufficiently versed in the world to correct christine o'donnell, I will let you know. In the meantime, we all will continue to be bored by your mindless repetition.

Kissy-kissy!

I read an interesting article on msnbc by the nyt I thought kind of goes along with this thread.

Republicans face fundamental choice in how to oppose

It's basically saying how will house republicans oppose the president? Will they do it the Palin way with name calling and more birther questions or will the established republicans in the house put forth ideas for ways of dealing with real issues like the economy? It would be interesting to see if the tea partiers manage to overrule the normal conservatives.

What effect will the teaparty freshmen have in the government?

None. The government is incompetent and mostly gridlocked. Replacing one group of self-serving incompetents with another group of self-serving incompetents will do little to change anything.

No.....You finally got mad

When a black man was elected President and decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.

Yes, illegal wars, lies, corruption, torture, job losses by the millions, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, and the worst economic disaster since 1929 are all okay with you, but helping fellow Americans who are sick...Oh, Hell No!!

@farmerman,
I think the most important thing is that now the GOP can stop,
by filibuster, radical left appointees to the federal judiciary.
That is, if the GOP has good party discipline.

@OmSigDAVID,
But, the GOP for years under Bush claimed that it was morally wrong to filibuster judges. Have you forgotten so quickly, the calls for an 'up and down vote' on Bush's appointees that resounded through the halls of the Senate?

Or do you just not give a ****?

What I CARE about is defending the Original Constitution (as amended, per Article 5).
I wanna appoint judges who will play it straight, NOT cheat.
The liberals want to distort the Constitution,
reducing individual freedom, by LYING about the Constitution.

One liberal, Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsberg has even explicitly
said that she was influenced by alien law, in her interpretations.

That is illegitimate; a jurisprudential perversity not better than taking bribes.
