I took off from work earlier then usual (a benefit of being the boss) and went to Kroger. They are expecting the usual mayhem whenever the word "snow" is mentioned.
AndyClubber's lady is considered "essential" at UVA. She HAS to be at work at UVA at 8 am, so he will be at the shop and can deal with sidewalk clearing.

I'll take San Diego for starters. A beautiful day here - near twenty degrees with a few scattered snow showers. For me, that's short-sleeve weather as long as I'm working cattle. Preg checking 164 head will work up a sweat in a pretty short period of time on a day like today.

Good morning! I looked out at 4 am and all was quiet, although off in the distance a dog was barking. Now it is snowing hard, and the dog is still barking.
But it is snow, not sleet. It has been so cold for so long that the pavement put up no fight. The roads are covered.
AndyClubber called at 8 from the shop. He will work on keeping the sidewalks clear of the now expected 5 inches.
I ain't going nowhere. Instead I can spend the day nagging for picks in the San Francisco vs San Diego game from EhBeth, JPB, Miz Cowdoc, CoastalRat, Panzade, Fbaezer and Alex.

We are missing Alex. I hope he is okay.
Everyone of us here has San Diego. Even CoinToss.
It was a boring, boring day here as the snow fell. I wrote for awhile but realized I wasn't really in the mood. I took a nap. I cleaned the kitchen. I took a nap. I played a few games of on-line scrabble and encountered one player who was quite witty in the comments between plays.
So now I am looking at San Francisco vs San Diego.
It may be time for another nap.
