@realjohnboy,
You dont have me listed in this weeks standings. Is it safe to assume that I did so badly that I fell totally off the list?

Standings-
The battle at the top remains a virtual tie between Spendius and LiontamerX. A couple of other players still have a chance but need to make a move in the final 3 weeks.
1) Spendius (137-71 .659) takes sole possession of #1 again by one game
2) LiontamerX (136-72 .654) slips from a tie for 1st

3) Ragman (132-76 .635) remains in 3rd
4) EhBeth (131-77 .630) drops from a tie for 3rd
5) Panzade (129-79 .620) quietly moves up from 6th
5) JPB, down from 3rd, took some chances that did not work out well
7) Region (.606) climbs from 8th
7) Osso sticks in 7th
9) McGentrix (.594) moves up from 10th
10) AndyClubber (.591) gives up a notch from 9th
11) Johnboy (.582) advances from 13th
12) Miz Cowdoc (.577) stays where she was
12) CoastalRat gets a nice pop from 16th
14) Cowdoc (.572) is down from 13th
15) Edgar (.570) gets punished, slumping from 10th
16) Rhys (.558) slips from 15th
16) Tico stays where he was
18) George (.552) does the same
19) Lmur (.543) does likewise
19) Fbaezer (.543) does, too
21) Mysteryman (.538) still sits in 21st
22) Jespah (.514) follows that same script, remaining in 22nd
23) Alex (.500) (!!!!!!) hits the breakeven mark but is still in the cellar.
--) BillW (25-7 .781) should have started playing earlier.

(4) The best ESPN expert (.632)
(22) The worst ESPN expert (.536)

Corrected. My apologies, MM.

Watching a dead octopus decompose is probably more interesting then watching a live soccer match, CT sniffs.

*By the way, after Week 17 we are done here. But then we do the Super Bowl thing on a new thread. We take a week or so off and then we pick all the way through the rest of the playoff games in one fell swoop, or is it one swell foop.
AndyClubber tells me that the NFL will soon start their "swing" game thing where they can move a game from earlier on on Sunday to the prime Sunday night TV slot.
**I can't see how the roof in the Metrodome can be patched by next Monday night. I see the Vikings' game as being somewhere else again.

Forgive me, Spendius, for this post...
We have in Cville something called "public access tv." Pretty much anyone who wants to can have a tv show. Most of them are quite painful to watch, including the one where AndyClubber and little Tony appeared recently. It is a 15 minute segment with an acoustic song for the first 4 minutes which even Andy admits was "not good."
But then he talks, as he is good at doing. I found it quite thoughtful for a guy who barely finished high school.

@realjohnboy,
I watched that interview just a little while ago.

Andy's a thoughtful and engaging speaker. I 'liked' Bella Morte on FB, and listened to more of their music.

Just a note 24 hours before the San Francisco @ San Diego game.
We here in Virginia are expected to get 4-6 inches of something starting tonight. That may seem like nothing to many of yall but it could take the form of snow (which would be fine) or, in the worst case, sleet. That causes trees to fall over onto power lines. If that happens, I won't be able to nag the remaining players, of which there are many.
I hope someone else here can continue the trolling in the event I disappear.
