@realjohnboy,
easy enough -

for me to find the link, as I already have BBC news as an online news source..

or for you to make stuff up, you're such a good story teller. But I take most of your stories as reality based anyway.

I hesitate to look at our fantasy football scores. Low numbers today, last I looked.

@edgarblythe,
Grumble re Steelers. On the other hand, I'm glad to see Flacco do ok.

@edgarblythe,
Another good game in last 1:30 - Denver Broncs - TN Titans game. Good to the last drop. Denver leads 23-20. Muffed kickoff...Denver recovers with time on their side.

@Ragman,
Muffed kickoff, indeed.
The early games, 8 of them, have not been particularly kind to us.
I have JPB, Ragman and Ms Cowdoc at 6-2.

I think that Green Bay should consider themselves lucky that they beat Detroit.

The Lions are the best 0-4 team out there.

The Texans lead the Raiders, but they have had their hands full. The Raiders are on the verge of being a pretty good team.

@edgarblythe,
Thus I picked Oakland for a while. Once I stop, they'll do better.

How on earth did the Redskins No 52 miss that touchdown pass for the Eagles?

What a game that was. No wonder the home crowd booed. Had the ball been greased?

In England there are refined ladies who say our football is 22 men chasing a ball around a field. If the USA has ladies of the same perspicacity I imagine that had they seen that game they might haughtily opine that your football is 22 men acting the goat on a lawn.

Through the 12 games so far, I unofficially have Ragman at 8-4, tied with JPB.

@mysteryman,
Yeah! I don't consider GB an elite team even though they got the win. Their mistakes and poor play put a game that was heading to a clear cut win into a close game. QB Rodgers threw 2 key picks in the last part of that game. GB's offense has some trouble. Their star rookie safety is injured, too.

Let's see who GB plays next week: Oh, looks like they play Wash. hmmmmmm....?

I have no idea anymore how to pick winners. If I bat 500 it'll be a miracle

This week, the games seemed so close, I had no idea who to pick. I passed over the Skins, because I didn't believe in them enough to trust my gut. So many games decided by a single score.
