I haven't watched any of the games today. I just saw Cutler get dropped for his 7th sack of the first half. sheesh....

@JPB,
At the half the count was 9 and almost a 10th sack.

Fast fwd: With 5:30 to go in the game, NYG 10 to Chi 3; however, Jacobs from Gints was sprinting for a sure TD when Chic from behind punched the ball out of his hands at the 1-yd-line to recover possession.

Man I lost track, but somehow NYG got the ball back and scored with 0:30 to go. Wow, all these games I've watched have been close today. Wonder what is going on?

@Ragman,
Just a minor delay in getting that touchdown.

@edgarblythe,
Yup. Cutler folded like a cheap napkin after that hit, and the Bears looked terrible.

Speaking of folding like a cheap napkin...
We are on target as a group to having our worst week yet. I think I see us finishing with a correct pick percentage of around 52%.
We have tended to be an egalitarian bunch here. Most players would win our weekly prize once in the course of a 17-week season. Someone might win twice.
This week Ragman is in the running to win for the 3rd time out of 4. Bully.
He and JPB are at 9-4 going into tonight's game. He has Miami while JPB is picking NE. There are a few players at 8-5 but they cannot win.
Alex will not finish last. Region and George are 4-9 and have NE while Edgar, also 4-9, has Miami.

@realjohnboy,
actually a very expensive and very finely woven napkin of silk/cotton and of sufficient denier, would fold much more easily than some cheap piece of muslin cotton or cotton terry.

@George,

ayuh, dozed off when it was 7-6 them.

missed this --
Quote:
The Patriots became the first team in NFL history with a rushing touchdown, a receiving TD, a kickoff return for a TD,
a blocked field goal for a TD, and an interception return for a TD in the same game.

Then there was Chung blocking a punt, blocking a field goal, and
intercepting a pass in the same game. Don't know if that's a record,
but it certainly was fun to watch (if you're a Pats fan, anyway).

Good win for the Patriots.
But it was a dismal week for the players here. As a group we correctly picked in a mere 50.7% of the games. It was our worst week in what has turned out to be 4 bad weeks.
Congratulations to JPB for winning Week #4. She finished with a nice 10-4 record.
CoastalRat, Spendius and Ragman came in at 9-5. Tico, Jespah, Mysteryman, Liontamerx and Cowdoc managed to go 8-6. McGentrix missed picking one game and went 8-5.
Alex, Panzade, Ms Cowdoc, AndyClubber, Osso and EhBeth broke even at 7-7. That was a big improvement for Alex.
Cyclo, Fbaezer, Lmur and Rhys stumbled in at 6-8 followed by George, Region and Johnboy at 5-9.
Edgar, who won Week #2 with a record of 11-5, reversed course finishing at 4-10.
The best ESPN guy, like JPB, went 10-4 while the worst finished at 7-7.

The Standings After Week #4 -
(1) Ragman retains 1st place but has to share it this week with JPB. She has quietly racked up 4 nice weeks. They are at a winning record of .645
(3) Tico, Spendius and Liontamerx are 3 games back at .597
(6) Panzade, Edgar and Ehbeth are 2 games further back at .565. Edgar had been in a tie for 1st
(9) Ms Cowdoc, AndyClubber and Jespah are at .548
(12) McGentrix stands at .541
(13) Cowdoc is a .532
(14) Cyclo and George are at .522
(16) Rhys, Lmur and CoastalRat stand at .516
(19) Mysterman breaks even at .500
(20) Region and Osso come in at .484
(22) Johnboy is at .468
(23) Fbaezer struggles at .452
(24) Alex stays in the cellar at .377

The best ESPN guy, (Craig?) Mortenson, is at .661 which would put him in the lead here. The worst, at .516 would be in 16th.
