@BillRM,
The earth is estimated to be some 4.5 billions years old. Your off like most things.

BTW, you'll have to ask the geologists/scientists who have determined the age of this planet. I, personally, do not have the knowledge or instruments to measure the age of anything.

Sorry I am not off at all the same ones who gave you an age for Mary of 13 at the time if Jesus birth gave the earth age at a 10,000 years.

All nonsense once more.

@cicerone imposter,
Why do you disagree with bill when he seems to be agreeing with you?

@cicerone imposter,
I interpret this as if you are far more intellectual than me about the understanding of all issues, is this correct?

@reasoning logic,
No. I may not be the sharpest pencil on a2k, but I also welcome people to challenge what I say. If people get nasty in how they ask, they'll get the same nastiness back.

@cicerone imposter,
Thank you for not embarrassing me, I did think that you were both speaking of something that you both seem to agree about, I just thought that you two were spinning your wheels. I do not mean this in a bad way it was only my observation.

@OmSigDAVID,
Depends on what source you use. Prove your 4.6?

Careful, CI, you're taking on the Mensa/ex-lawyer/renowned logician OmSigD.

I saw the Imam Rauf on the TV today, answering questions at a big conference. He seems a most reasonable and superior fellow. I liked him a lot.

@OmSigDAVID,
You miss the whole point of 4.5 billions years old; it's only an estimate. Since it's only an estimate, a few tenth of a billion years old has no real meaning to any discussion. It's just like most of your posts; little or no meaning.

Imposter, as a genuine liberal:
accuracy and truth have your contempt.

Deviation from truth is the innermost essence, the sine qua non of liberalism.

@OmSigDAVID,
Would you enjoy seeing GW Bush's lies again? I'd be more than happy to re-post them here.

I'm not a "liberal." I'm an independent who has voted for republicans during recent past elections.

@OmSigDAVID,
This is only on the Iraq War:
http://projects.publicintegrity.org/WarCard/?gclid=CKP9oPXYlqQCFRs2gwodvCkjHQ

The following Google list about the Bush lies:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=&q=bush+lies+list&sourceid=navclient-ff&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS330US330&ie=UTF-8&aq=1&oq=bush+lies

On the other hand, most of the promises Obama made during his campaign were kept or in progress.
