You've failed to make a cogent argument that the system is unfair to "one side" (read: to men). The legal definition of rape does not distinguish between men and women; the law is the same. You have forced this issue to be one where it's men versus women but that is false. The conflict in rape is the aggressor versus their victim (or the accused versus the accuser in a courtroom).

Who is helped by loosening the definition of rape? Not men. Not women. Not victims. The people who benefit are the rapists.

How would you feel about being anally raped by a man, without your consent?

In order to be able to answer that, he'd have to be capable of feeling empathy.

If I knew who it was I would more then likely take care of the matter myself and enjoy doing so.

And suppose the rapist then had you arrested for assault. What would your defense be? Would you mention your rape?

Would you seek medical treatment after the rape? Would you worry about getting an STD--like AIDS---as the result of the rape?

In any case my health insurance company and I had pay large amount of money to have objects far larger then a penis up my rear end over the years.

Were those objects placed in your anus with your consent?

These misogynistic assholes rail on about the relative handful of men who are victims of false accusations. Such a heinous accusation is certainly horrible, and it does happen at alarming levels on a he-said, she-said level, but even so the likelihood of a man being falsely imprisoned for rape is probably about on par with his likelihood of getting struck by lightning.

So it does not matter as long as you are not likely to get hit but such a bolt out of the blue.

but you just said...

It would be annoying...........Not an event that would ruin my life however.

How is it that getting hit with a bolt out of the blue is such an offense, and yet getting raped is "annoying?" You'll tolerate being raped *couch* bullshit *cough*, but you won't tolerate being accused of rape.

You're priorities are completely backwards.

As she been talking about the rape happening to me I would assume I can feel empathy for myself.

I would be far far more annoy to find myself in prison for a crime I did not do then a rape.

@Arella Mae,
They can't understand what it is like to be raped, Arella Mae.

Bill thinks it would be "annoying". Annoying? Like a hangnail? A RAPE. Rolling Eyes

And Hawkeye can't even answer the question.

That's been the problem with trying to discuss this situation with them. They can't understand it.

I do not think he will be around to press charges.

Of course, you have already shown that you don't have empathy for others.

Rape is more often an exercise of control over another being, and less a sexual pursuit. A person being horny/aroused is usually not enough for them to commit rape. Rapists get off on controlling other people.

So being comfortable with your sexuality is not the emotional insulator you think it is. Certainly, many people are comfortable with their sexuality that they can tolerate the concept of intercourse, but rape is the robbery of a person's will power. That is the violation you can't seem to wrap your head around. Rapists are often enraged at the idea of rejection because they cannot control it.

OK. So, now the charge is murder. Same question.

The state would however be around, and they WOULD file charges. You'd look pretty silly staring down the barrel of a forensic case built on killing a man.

So, you would kill him? When you are "annoyed", do you usually kill people? Or would you feel rage toward your rapist?

Let's assume you do kill him. What would your defense be after you are arrested?

Would you claim he raped you? If you killed him after the rape, that wouldn't be self defense.

If you hadn't gotten medical treatment, you wouldn't have DNA evidence of his semen in your anus.

What would your defense be to the murder charge for killing your rapist?

Oh I see. It would not destroy your life but you would what? Kill him? Now that makes no sense at all, not like anything you have said so far does but that is ridiculous.

If it would only be annoying why would you make it so "you don't think he'd be around to press charges?" The rape wouldn't destroy your life but you'd kill the rapist and you think that wouldn't destroy your life? Logic definitely escapes you.

You two............................there are no words.

If I did not have a 99.99 odds of getting away with it in my opinion he would be safe it however if not I would kill him as why allow such a person to go on living?

It would be a fun kind of thing to plan and do. A logical and an engineering challenge of the first order.

I had always been a moral person and therefore never went far out of society rules but a rapist who was dumb enough to rape me would enjoy no moral protections from me.

It would be a logical and an engineering challenge of the first order? Okay, seriously, you are one sick and twisted person. You have been backing up hawkeye and his leniency for rapists but if it happened to you, YOU would kill the person and consider it a "fun kind of thing to plan and do?" Disgusting.

Quick, someone shoot me!

So why not just report your rape to the police and have your rapist locked up?

Why wouldn't you want to do that?

@Arella Mae,
Don't you get it?

Once he murders the rapist, he doesn't have anything annoying him anymore. He's taken control of the situation. It's very manly to murder someone who does you wrong. Only emasculated men would let the legal system fight the ills of society for them.

Don't you get it? Women should be annoyed and murdering their rapists. Bill and hawk would totally understand. We'd watch their trials on TV and they'd remind us that these women were annoyed.

The extra stupid thing here is that Hawk & Bill are cry-babying about how a legal system puts men at a disadvantage, but if we follow Bill's logic, then men's rights in a courtroom are even more irrelevant because they never enter a courtroom.

Dumb.
