For sure, don't accept anyone's paraphrase of my views because they are rarely recalled correctly. Also as a general rule you should never let anyone speak for the people present, people can speak for themselves, and should be allowed to do so.

The main things that get me trashed is that I hold a different view of what appropriate consent is, I want people to have what they want rather than what the self appointed minders want for them, I want to completely change teen sex law, I want all disputes that are are not violent rape handled by the public health system not the justice system unless we are dealing with a known transgressor, I want the government out of our sex lives unless one of the people having sex with us complains, and I almost fully reject the argument that the government has a right to invalidate consent because I decides that someone is asking too often or begging to hard or has a superior station in life.

There is a poetic justice in your scenario. Hawkeye is in love with his victim status, which is why he is so aggressive towards genuine victims.

And there's enough useful idiots/nonces like BillRM to feed his delusions.

The fact is that the real outrage is the huge scale unreported rapes. Hawkeye and his cohorts can't accept reality which is why they victim blame, redefine consent as to make it meaningless, and wildly over exaggerate false rape allegations. Their collective narcissism and persecution complexes trump reality every time.

Rape is not excusable.

Child pornagraphy... Is not excusable.

Walking into a highschool or church and shooting up the place... Is not excusable.

Drinking or texting and driving... Is not excusable.

Robbing a store or a bank... Is not excusable.

Beating people over the head with your (not you personally) beliefs... Is not excusable.

The list goes on and on and on.

It all causes damage. It all hurts someone. Often many.

As I said before, I advocate not for one side or the other of this. I advocate for compassion for both sides. We are all human after all.

I do understand that there are some who are a few fries short of a happy meal in this world and do not say even that is an excuse. Why is it they, as in anyone who does anything viewed as bad, deserve less compassion than anyone else in this world?
