as I said, at some point it probably did turn into rape even if it did not start out as such. The facts of the case are not currently known to us however, and one person's account is not Gospel. No it was not her fault. But it is the fault of the women on this thread that it is thrown up for others to enjoy.

When I wrote that I hoped it would draw comment. I wanted to use it to point out comparable comments have been made by women about men who were later released from prison on acquittal. Comparable comments have been made about innocent men who havent even been to trial but merely charged with a crime. I will withdraw my comment when men on charges no longer have their names released to the public.

That is because the people have in the past and generally still do consider sexual aggression in relationship as not the same thing as sexual aggression with strangers. I do however demand that the predator/prey , conquer/revised dynamics take place in consensual relationship, and I do not grant the government the right to deny individuals the right to play these games.

I am interested in neither your need to preach nor your message" What ever two consenting adults (old def, before the state decided that they get to decide what consent is good enough and who is allowed to consent) decide between them to do is NOT YOUR BUSINESS!

If you really agreed with that, you wouldn't carry on about the rape laws--which refer only to non consenual sex.

You don't want to give the female the "power" to consent, or withhold consent--that's why your attitudes, emotions, and motivations sound just like the undetected rapists. You engage in nonsense games about "confused consent" or "No is a challenge to make her say Yes" or "Sometimes the man knows better than the woman what she really wants". Those are all BS excuses so you can ignore her lack of consent--or ignore her resistance. You really do sound like an undetected rapist.

Rape is not "playing a game"--it's a sexual assault. The government most certainly has the right to limit your ability to rape.

How true. There is no astounding display of intelligence in their posts. I'm not sure the three of them could manage to change a lightbulb, even if they all put their heads together.

The amount of irrational hostility being expressed toward women by them is incredible.
It's no wonder that so many women are being raped if that's the sort of attitude that fuels rapists to attack.

I have talked ad-nauseum about the fact that the devil is in the details of what is consent, and who is allowed to grant it and who is allowed to decide if the consent is good enough to avoid the police...which you deny but then you go and prove me correct when you refuse to discuss what the definition of consent should be and trot out your juvenile platitude of "everybody knows what consent is"....because you know damn well that this business of consent is a hornets nest.

The state shows every sign of being willing to use the theory of consent to roll over the citizens, to deny our right to sexual and relationship freedom. This can not be allowed, to deny the citizens freedom of sexual expression and relationship is to subvert the reason the USA was created.

the way I understand it it is impossible to both have a person on ignore and to vote down their posts. Somebody who actually uses the ignore function and the voting scheme will hopefully confirm this...

You know the definition of consent in your state--it's one simple sentence and you should have no problem understanding it. It's "freely willing agreement"--on the part of both parties. But, since your interest is mainly "getting it from her"--it's her freely willing agreement you have to have.

The only thing the state denies you is the freedom to rape--the right to have sex without her "freely willing agreement"--without her consent.
