Hey, Can A Woman "Ask To Get Raped"?

Enough anti-male and totally false bullshits had been posted here to last a long lifetime in my opinion.

My very top bit of false information is the one in four women in college will be rape before they get their degrees. We can not in fairness blame Firefly for posting this nonsense as even CNN had done so.

However, the claim that only men can be charge with rape is the most fun false bit of information and does show Firefly up for being the silly fool she is.

Well guys are you all ready to wind this down or am I going to need to monitor this thread to the end of time?

No one has said that a passed out woman can consent, however I say that a staggering drunk can communicate consent and can be coherent enough to be believed. I such cases no finding of rape should be the outcome. I am not at all agreeing with the proposed .08 BAC for rape, as being more drunk than that and having good sex has been a major quality of life improver for me. I should not be deprived of such sex because some scaredy cat feminists are afraid that some woman somewhere someday might not like herself in the morning based upon what she did the night before.

It is almost always a mistake to try to prevent people from making bad choices by outlawing a class of the choices. It is even more so when some of the good stuff in life get outlawed trying to save the stupid from themselves.

I also find amusing that women are being block from going after highly desirable mates if they would wish to do so such as Professors at their University and their doctors even just their GP.

All this is in the name of protecting them from evil powerful males that might take advantage of these poor child-like women.

Please take note Mysteryman that the women posters on this thread are voting your postings down in the same manner as Hawkeye and mine are.

Does that tell you how reasonable or not and open to others viewpoints they are?

And I am sure that all the links to studies and all the links and postings of the current state laws and the news stories of for example women being charge with rape an event that Firefly claimed never can occur under current laws because you need a penis to be so charge and on on on you do find worthless.

Facts that disagree with you can be so annoying.

A few assumes here the first that the man is cold sober and the woman is not and that is not the normally the way it go when a dating couple is out partying.

So does a man who himself is not cold sober have a duty to protect her from behaviors that tomorrow she might or might not regret?

As they are both adults under the law why is his duty greater then hers when it come to sex?

Does so stating not in fact downgrade her adulthood to a far lesser state then his and is in fact insulting to the woman?

I am thinking that there are a couple of hundred thousand Americans who remember fondly making love not war on or about 1967 while tripping out on Acid, who are about to be amazed that before they croak the same act will earn a man 10 years in the slammer, and a woman a referral to psychiatric help...

When does this situation exist in the normal flow of dating?

I too can remember many times making love to a lady who had a few drinks however I can never remember doing so when I had not have more then my date even taking into account body mass differences.

AM and others here seem not to be able to get away with painting men as cold blooded ploting sexual predators and the women as victims.

The only good thing I can say about Firefly is she have no problem in declaring that a male no matter how drunk is still the only one who is totally responsible for any sex that occur. The woman have zero responsible in the matter.

I can remember heading down a hallways of a motel where my about to be sexual partner was bouncing off the walls but I was doing a similar amount of bouncing myself.

We have given women a free pass up till now. No matter what their motive, no matter what their proven character is, they can do anything they want to a guy, but if he goes over the line that only exists for him he will get wrung up on serious criminal charges. We have thus given women an open invite to practice sexual taunting. Only a person who is unfamiliar with humans could believe that this power once written into law would not be used.

I certainly think that we need to take the situation in total into consideration, and considering that in almost all cases both parties are wrong to some extent I think that the remedy needs to be handed out proportionally to the degree the the individuals contributed to the problem. This idea that men are 100% wrong and women 100% innocent is false, and even those who wont admit it likely know somewhere in their twisted minds and hearts that this is true.

This problem did not get out of hand overnight...it took several decades. But we must begin to unwind the mistakes that we have made in sex law, because the law has become so obviously unfair that the credibility of the government claims to care about the fair administration of justice are now in doubt.
