I would be hard pressed to count the number of times however that I have had sex with staggering, slurring words, confused drunk women though.....

Wow, what a hero.
(You, too, Bill, for playing along with this pathetic nonsense.)
Anything to "win" the argument, outlast the folk you're arguing with, hey?
Frankly I don't know why they've bothered talking with you for this long.
You certainly haven't "won" any debate as far as I'm concerned.
Nor am I outraged, shocked, appalled, whatever, by the rubbish you've posted here. Actually, I think you're kind of tragic. Neutral

Although the legal definition of rape varies slightly from state to state, it is generally defined as sexual intercourse that is perpetrated without the consent of the victim. Sexual intercourse must occur for the definition of rape to apply.

Sexual Intercourse: the penetration of the penis into the vagina, however slight-- in other words, if the penis goes into the vagina just a little, not in its entirety, that is considered completed "sexual intercourse". (There is no requirement of physical injury and usually there is no requirement that ejaculation or orgasm have occurred.) http://www.svfreenyc.org/survivors_legal.html

@hawkeye10,
Don't be silly, hawkeye.
You know we don't vote on forum discussions. But we certainly form our own impressions of participants & the integrity of their arguments in any discussion.

Ack.

@BillRM,
Interesting, Bill.
Now go find some reliable data about the percentage of women in any society (preferably the US, where I think you live?) convicted of rape, compared to men. Whatever the gender, or age of their victims might be.

DENISON UNIVERSITY
Police investigate sex assault in dormitory
Student says man raped her in her room while she was intoxicated
Wednesday, September 29, 2010
By Josh Jarman

Granville police and Denison University officials are investigating a report of a rape in a campus dorm room Saturday.

A female student told campus security officers she was assaulted by a stranger who walked her back to her room while she was intoxicated.

The university quickly contacted village police after the incident, a response the Licking County prosecutor recently had requested following previous crimes on campus that had gone unreported.

The student and a friend were walking on campus when they met three men who said they were going to the same party as the women, according to a Granville police report. When told by the friend that she was taking the student back to her room because of her level of intoxication, one of the men took the student's arm and told her to walk him back to her room.

The friend and the other men followed, but when they got to the room the door was locked, the report states.

The friend reported that the man later came out of the room and told his friends they had to "get out of there." She then entered the room to find the student crying.

The student told police she does not remember much of the incident, but she told the man "no" several times, and they had intercourse. The student was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital.

A university spokesman said no one was available to comment yesterday.

The suspected assailant is described as an older, college-age white male, about 5feet 11 inches tall, with dark, curly hair and a beard along his jaw line that connects to sideburns but no mustache. His description was released in a community alert that was sent to students Saturday.

The alert urged students to contact campus security whenever an intoxicated student needs help.

Firefly under Ohio law you can be charge with rape without a penis also.

That may well be the case, Bill, but I think what's more relevant is to have a clear idea of the gender of most rapists. In other words, the proportion of convicted male perpetrators compared to the number of convicted women rapists.

You might find an example (or two) of lesbian midgets who have been convicted of rape, too, but you know, they might just be the exception to the rule. Wink

If you Google long enough, you can find examples of just about anything you want to find. It doesn't necessarily mean you've proved anything, though.

@BillRM,
Rape is the sexual penetration by force or against the will of the victim. Of whichever sex, whatever age.
No, I'm not going to look for the statistics, because I already know what they will reveal (you can argue otherwise if you care to search out the statistics for yourself.)
Whatever you are claiming that Firefly has argued, rape is overwhelmingly perpetrated by men. In just about any society you can name.
You can argue as much as you like around the fringes, about the definitions of rape, how & why it happens, but surely this is a serious issue that men must address?
At the very least, there needs to be a crystal clear indication of mutual agreement to sex. Arguing after the event, that the woman appeared to be willing, because she was drunk, because she appeared to be "leading someone along", because she might have had a history of promiscuity, or whatever, is just not good enough. None of that is clear consent. Do you agree?
