No...

Clearly you don't understand my reasons for wanting to stay in Iraq. I'm not surprised, you did more unleashing of rhetoric than opening and listening to my ideas.

Yeah, the immediate consequences being that they stop developing nuclear weaponry.

The long term consequences being that they try again in the distant future, and fail for the same reasons.

Lest we forget that we had a chance to make an ally out of Iran in 1952, but instead we played lapdog to the British and eventually paved the way for the Islamic Revolution. Now we have children advocating bombing Iran on message boards...

Obviously you've really thought this through. You should probably wait until you learn just a little about foreign affairs--particularly those of the economic variety--before you spout such nonsense.

Give me one good reason why we should bomb Iran? Also I think a war with Iran would be unjustified. The Iranians are made to look evil in the media. I'm not going to get into the whole Israeli media "conspiracy" right now. Ahmadinejad may have some messed up world views due to religious beliefs, but the media is sensationalizing him and often plain out misquoting him in a lot of situations to garner support for a preemptive war. One Man Clan you are one to call yourself an libertarian and most likely a Paul supporter but the enigma is that you are believing the mainstream medias views on a country thats destruction is in Israels best interest. Tisk Tisk.

I did retort. I said your opinion that we should bomb Iran is nonsense. It illustrates an utter lack of understanding of economic, political, and military reality.

That's because your reasons for bombing Iran are as faulty as your reasons for staying in Iraq.

You want us to stay in Iraq to bring peace to the region, while advocating bombing their neighboring country, that CLEARLY wants aggressions against the US to rise, and not put boots down to stabilize that area also, after we target it for destruction? ******* absolutely laughable. You want to talk about a festering pit of anti-American sentiment, and reinforcement of islmaofascist ideals, imagine Iran after we bomb them to hell.
