It kills you but once you find someone who's worth hanging out with, you'll realize how useless it was getting that upset over her, and how much she sucked.
ya know, enjoy it, in a way, fred. i don't know if i can explain it well, but my hunch is you will never be hurt this way again. it is bittersweet, powerfull, overwhelming. i wish i could get worked up about men like the first time i truly fell in love. ahhhh, the good old times. when it fell apart, i was certain i will die or the world will come crashing down, but here i am, happy as can be, remembering that pain fondly. granted, it can only be remembered fondly once it's over... but you'll get there, you're on the right track.
