@rosborne979,
I know. I'd even take a pittance. 1% is even fine for me.

@tsarstepan,
There is an estimated €170 million on offer in tomorrows
Euromillions draw. That's approx $245 million.
What an obscene amount of money, just imagine one person
could win all that, shocking. Shocked

I've already bought my lottery tickets, I hope it's me !!!!!!
I'd even share it if I had too, mustn't be greedy. Wink

@eurocelticyankee,
That's bigger than our Power Ball. Doggies. Just imagine Uncle Scrooge and all those cubic acres of money he daily took a swim in.

@edgarblythe,
If I win I'll be swimming in acres of money but more than likely I'll be swimming in acres of ****. Good compost.

I always spend a couple of bucks on the lottery. Not as much as I used to spend on tobacco.

I had got to not liking cigarettes anymore. Unfortunately, certain of the cigars were wonderful. The problem with them is, nobody wants you around if you puff on them. So, I tried to smoke them only when alone. Which is what weaned me of the habit. I forgot to buy any smokes and then realized the habit had been broken. I now hate any form of tobacco. My wife continued to smoke for a few more years, but then quit as the cigarette related illness that killed her father sunk in deeply enough.

@edgarblythe,
Sorta the same story for me. I loved the taste of a new cigar but I hated em when they got more than half done. I also couldnt stand the"full bodied cigars" They tasted like creosote to me.I would smoke La Fleur Dominicanas and wouldnt feel so bad when I tossed em at half staff cause they diodnt cost as much as a cuban or an "Opus X"

Worming sheep all day.We couldnt get a bunch into a loafing pen in the pasture. Suddnely a bunch of douche bags started setting off fireworks about a mile away and the noise scared the sheep so they all ran in the pen. Better than the border collie who just stood there with a puzzled look like "Whose takin my job boss?"

@edgarblythe,
My better half still smokes, not heavy like, but she'll sit on
the back patio reading a novel while puffing away.
The kids and myself have given up trying to get her to quit,
I think some thing like that has to come from within.
I watched my Mother die slowly from lung cancer and from
then I wanted so bad to give them up but it still took me a few
years to get around to it.
Never again!

@eurocelticyankee,
I could make a list of those close to me that died of smoking related illness. My brother Sam and my mother are two of them.

@farmerman,
You don't have to feed firecrackers or step in their ****. Sounds worth a try.

@edgarblythe,
Likewise, I've lost family and friends to smoking but hopefully the next generation
or so wont be able to say the same, neither of my kids smoke and never will. In fact
very few of their friends smoke, it's turned on it's head, the kid who smokes now is the odd one out.
Hopefully that trend will continue.

@edgarblythe,
My kids are 17 and 22, so it's that generation I think have
broken the link, mostly through education.
How old are your 3 that smoke.

Unfortunately, these days there are still ( and will continue to be) multi-generations of pot smokers who don't seem to have a clue as to what the substance is doing to their health.

You can't tell me that pot smoke (or any kind of smoke for that matter) is benign within one's body. Mad

@Reyn,
I consider continuous pot smoking not good for the health. But I think the prohibition of it and drugs is helping to grow the use rather than stemming it.
