This morning, I Googled the question "what salads use american cheese?" to get for an offhanded answer for another post here at a2k. I forgot that I was on the Google image search page and can you guess what I got from Google? Try it yourself and you won't be surprised what Google considers as American salads.
I got as the first entry something about a pineapple/american cheese salad?
Was that it tsar?
All I literally got on the first page of the Google image search was cheeseburgers and more cheeseburgers. Though admittedly that pineapple monstrosity sounds ... gag... gug... yummy? Gggg! Ew....

Why do dads get so upset when someone asks them to stop to use the bathroom?
Aunt Martha's still gonna be there whether you're 5 minutes later or not.
Not being a dad or anything. But I suspect it's a macho test of endurance and a subliminal need to pretend that they're in some kind of cross country race and every pit stop hurts their chances at beating some kind of trip record.

It's about schedules and speeding. Speed limit is 55 say, and if you go 65 on a 4 hour trip that cuts approx 40 miles (40 minutes) off the trip. If you stop, then why bother speeding when that break is going to extinguish any time saved by speeding.
