I had a Hoppy gun and holster, and my mother sewed me a cowgirl skirt (light blue denim) and shirt. (And recently I've read that those in the know never wear two things in denim, snort.) That was in our new york city apartment.
She made most of my clothes and not too long later taught me how.
Oh, I had boots too, but I think they were bought in Albuquerque on a car drive west to California a few years later, and by then I liked the boots a lot but was over Hopalong Cassidy.
