I'm certain we all know couples that inspire the thought s/he could have done so much better or how did they ever get together? There are some long-lasting . . . which may or may not be a measure of success . . . couples that seem so mismatched that you expect a separation daily.

Some of these match ups remind me of Point Counterpoint at the end of 60 minutes featuring Shana Alexander and James Kilpatrick . . . James would actually make a good physical and vocal stand-in for David.

My ex husband and I used to watch the two of them square off and laugh. At the end, I would turn to my former, drop my voice an octave and say, "If you and your liberal friends have your way, Shana, the devil will come out of the ground!"

BTW, I am pretty far from a lesbian.

I have known Rebecca ( Aidan ) socially
and I can assure u, in the fullness of good faith
that she does not act anything like Plain does.

Altho Rebecca is also a liberal as is Plain, Rebecca speaks logically;
she is articulate, so that we can understand what she says,
she speaks politely and I have never known Rebecca to be caustic.

Rebecca is very, very different than Plain,
tho thay share a left-leaning ideology. Everyone has the right to an opinion.
There is a world of difference between them.
