I see your point as it take a dumb group indeed not to see the benefits of paying double per capital for our private insurance driven health system then the rest of the industrial world does and ending up with a lower lifespan and a higher infant morality rate for example. Not to mention, the benefit of having tens of millions with only emergent access to health care.
Yes our system is surely better then all those other countries and it take a dumb group of fools not to see this as clearly as you do.
