President John Kennedy, at a banquet for Nobel Laureates, said something to this effect: Never has there been more intellect gathered in one room since Jefferson dined alone.
Johnboy, who is Mr Jefferson's neighbor here in Charlottesville, is alone in his intelligent picks.

@tsarstepan,
I stand alone. This is my burden and mine alone and I will bear it.
14-7 Jets @ the half. The Bengals have 2 turnovers & QB Palmer is not passing for a lot of yards so far.

That was pretty ugly. The Bengals fall to the Jets 24-14.
Good news for the 7 players here who had NY.
Bengals QB C. Palmer could only manage to go 18-36 passing for 146 yards. He threw an interception and lost a fumble. He was sacked twice in a drive near the end of the game. The Cincy kicker missed 2 field goal attempts that even Spendius could have made.
Rhyss, George's son, is not on A2K. He emails me his picks plus a bit of analysis which I am not supposed to repeat. Suffice it to say that his comments about Cincy in general and Palmer in particular were dead right, leading him to uncharacteristically choose a NY team.
The 7 players here who had the Jets get a green forehead star and 1 point.
We move on to Philly @ Dallas.
At the half: Cowboys 27 - Eagles 7
Talking points at the water cooler on Monday re the 1st half:
> Time of possession: Cowboys... 23 minutes; Eagles... 7. "You can't score if you aint got the ball."
> 1st downs: Dallas 18 vs Philly 4.
> Turnovers: 2 by Philly.
> Tony Romo (QB, Dallas) tossed for 200 yards in the 1st half.
