@Rockhead,
“Deuce McAllister has always embodied the spirit of the New Orleans Saints and the city of New Orleans,” Payton said. “We’re excited to have him back with the team and to have him lead us out on to the field.”

@Ticomaya,
Tico, you really picked THREE road teams? Wow - you must believe in the "rust" theory. I just wanted to tell you that the reason the Cards play on six days rest while Dallas gets the extra day is that the top-seeded teams (Indy and New Orleans) play on Saturday, assuming that, should the top seed move on to the championship game, they earn an extra day of rest over the #2 seed (Chargers and Vikings). Of course, that assumes that your theory is incorrect, and home teams advance. So the Saturday game schedule has nothing to do with the Cards, and everything to do with the final record of the Saints. Even though I chose New Orleans, I wish the Cards good luck. If Warner does his usual reading of the way the Saints like to blitz, we could see another track meet this week.

Updated to reflect picks by Sozobe, EhBeth and Rockhead.

We have 10 different arrangements of picks this weekend:
Picking the Saints, Colts, Vikings and Chargers are (10): Miz Cowdoc, McGentrix, Maporsche, Cowdoc, Region, Tsarstepan, Edgar, Clubber, Sozobe and Jespah.
Going for the Saints, Colts, Cowboys and Chargers (7): Infrablue, Wandeljw,
Rhyss, Liontamerx, Spendius, Mysteryman and Gargamel.
Then things really start to splinter into smaller and smaller minorities:
Choosing the Cardinals, Colts, Vikings and Chargers (3): Imur, OccomBill and Johnboy.
Betting on the Saints, Ravens, Vikings and Chargers (2): George and Alex.
On the bandwagon for the Saints, Colts, Vikings and Jets (2): Seed and Cyclops.
Relatively confident about the Cardinals, Ravens, Cowboys and Chargers (2):
Tico and Osso.
Going for the Saints, Ravens, Colts and Chargers is Rockhead.
CCCCing (sorry) the Cardinals, Colts, Cowboys and Chargers is EhBeth.
Selecting the Saints, Ravens, Vikings and Jets is Djjd.
And thinking the Saints, Colts, Cowboys and Jets is JPB.

I think I got this right.

@ossobuco,
Off we go! 24 of us have the Saints. Imur, Occumbill, EhBeth, Tico, Osso and JOHNBOY have the Cardinals. I wonder why I picked them?
2 points will be awarded to the players who pick correctly in this game, and more 2 points for each other game this weekend.

It is too early to name names. But after this game and the others this weekend I am going to need a graphic image I can use. I am thinking of a plane (cartoon of course) spiraling down and crashing. Something I can use to indicate a player who is out of the running in the picking of a Super Bowl champion.
Thanks.
