Sixty and sunny. Tee shirt and shorts. Jogging and sprinting.
I ran the first seven minutes as a warmup and then did intervals of 1-minute
sprints and 3-minute recoveries. "Sprints" may be overstating it. I picked up
the pace noticeably, but was far short of a decent race pace. Did three miles
in all.
I wore my green St. Pat's tee in honor of the occasion. Up the clans.
when 4:15 rolled around, i (quietly) said 'frig it' and left.
i too did the shorts thing... conditions were perfecto.
can't recall ever having a nicer, warmer St P's day up heeyuh...

Weatherfolk calling mid-to-high sixties for today.
Yowza.
I may be able to get out for a short trot.
Shame not to.

Bazillions of happy runners everywhere the last couple of days. Doesn't get much better than this (mid-60's and sunny -- hotter is unpleasanter).
Treadmill trotting going well. Not quite ready to bounce yet, but getting there. Supposed to be 70 today. I will be out.

Yesterday was yet another great day for running.
Hard to believe that this is mid-March.
But I'm not complaining.
Jogged south to Mill Rd and then up that bleeping hill at the end of
Turnpike Rd.
Shorts and a sleeveless jersey.
Felt good but probably looked like hell.
Did a gym session with Rhys after dinner.
Finished with ten minutes on the elliptical.
Legs feel OK this morning.
Gotta remember not to sit too long without a brief walkaround.
More good weather today.
Plan to do three.
One mile easy, one mile harder, last mile easy.
Did fifteen miles this week.
Going for something between fifteen and twenty next week.
Maybe raise the intensity just a bit.
No running planned for today, but Rhys and I will put in some gym time.

Mother Nature beamed warmth and sunshine just long enough for us to get
used it, then turned a cold cloudy shoulder to us. So I pulled the long pants
and long sleeves out of the bag today.
I ran 4.78 miles at a nine-thirty-something pace. Nothing to write home about,
but it shows progress. I kept the level of effort up all the way through. I'll do
a gentlemanly jog tomorrow.
April 18th appears to be open. If so (I gotta check with the Social Directress)
I'll enter the 5K with Jes, Reege and Thomas.
