The sidewalk along Billerica Rd (Rt 28) are slowly clearing. I was able to run
along it for the first time in months. I felt like a kid who's been cooped up in
the yard for too long and finally gets to go out and play in the neighborhood.
Thursday and Friday may be in the high 50s. If so, I'll be jogging in shorts.

Thanks. Region sent me the link. They do have three pictures I'm in, but my bib is invisible so I didn't get the email. On those pictures, I'm out of focus and all frustrated about losing what turned out to be 40 seconds in the traffic jam before the finish line. On the bright side, I'm also hidden behind other runners. I take that as evidence I'm back to getting thinner.
First 15k of the year yesterday. Beat my I can-live-with-that goal of running it in 11-minute miles, but was 45 seconds too slow for my that's-what-I-really-want goal of 1:40. Freezing temperatures and clear blue skies over Central Park. T'was a good Sunday.
Next up: Karhu's "13.1 New York" Half-Marathon this coming Saturday. My I-can-live-with-that goal, again, is 11-minute miles. The that's-what-I-really-want goal is to beat 2:20. Today, though, I'm indulging a Day-After flashback, as captured in this New-York-Road-Runners video:
