The sidewalk along Billerica Rd (Rt 28) are slowly clearing. I was able to run
along it for the first time in months. I felt like a kid who's been cooped up in
the yard for too long and finally gets to go out and play in the neighborhood.

Thursday and Friday may be in the high 50s. If so, I'll be jogging in shorts.
Yowsa!

@jespah,
You and Region both look great as finishers. Where'd you find the pictures?

@Thomas,

check your e-mail for something from Capstone Photography.
they are in the business of selling photos from the race, but there are work-arounds to obtain the images...

@Region Philbis,
Nothing. Perhaps it was an opt-in feature.

Nope, it isn't. I have the email but I ended just googling capstone photography ras na and that was actually enough.

@jespah,
Thanks. Region sent me the link. They do have three pictures I'm in, but my bib is invisible so I didn't get the email. On those pictures, I'm out of focus and all frustrated about losing what turned out to be 40 seconds in the traffic jam before the finish line. On the bright side, I'm also hidden behind other runners. I take that as evidence I'm back to getting thinner.

@Joe Nation,
Nowhere near one hundred yet, but I ran in shorts and a t-shirt today.
First time in 2011.

@George,
Just passed 70 miles for the year.

A 3 mile jog through snow flurries.

On the virtual jog to Montreal, I'm running along Rte 4 in Salisbury, NH past
stone fences and old farmhouses.

First 15k of the year yesterday. Beat my I can-live-with-that goal of running it in 11-minute miles, but was 45 seconds too slow for my that's-what-I-really-want goal of 1:40. Freezing temperatures and clear blue skies over Central Park. T'was a good Sunday.

Next up: Karhu's "13.1 New York" Half-Marathon this coming Saturday. My I-can-live-with-that goal, again, is 11-minute miles. The that's-what-I-really-want goal is to beat 2:20. Today, though, I'm indulging a Day-After flashback, as captured in this New-York-Road-Runners video:

@Thomas,
Atta boy, Thomas!

I'm only doing about 15 kilometers a week these days.
You are putting me to shame.

@George,
Thanks for making me feel superior! But the truth is, I need the training more, too.
